Without it going straight to my hips? I usually take two or three anyway,

Couldn't someone come up with a low-cal communion wafer for those of us who are calorie conscious? It would really help.

Is it ok to call the leader of the Pentecostal church a "Father" ?
Also, who in Pentecostal church helps those in need? Say who do the member of the church need to approach in the event of the financial hardship?

(this is for my research)

I've been with Christians, Muslim, Jews, Buddhists, and even a Hindu. Actually, I've been with a few atheists and agnostics too if they count. I've never had a Scientologist but I'm working on that.

I feel like it broadens my spiritual awareness.

What do you think and what do you do to expand your spiritual knowledge?

We have all been hypoctitical at one time in our lives. Is this God's way of making fun of us. Everytime I'm feelin high and mighty, karma sneeks up and bites me in the a$$...

Just a random thought!!

Wouldn't you judge them?

I would tell them to go to hell and to get out of my sight.

And I'm Christian.

When radical imams declare a holy war against Christians and non-muslims, and call for killing or destroying non-muslims only a few muslims condemns it. But when the Pope quotes a 14th century( remember he was just quoting) book about how some muslim teaching leads to violence , the whole muslim world erupts into a riot and wants to get rid of the pope. I mean if you are so sure about your faith , you should accept criticism. To me intolerance is a sign of weakness especially to ones faith. **** im gonna hear for this.

If you were a person who didn't know Jesus and you met someone and they told you, "I'm trying to be down with Jesus...but stupid people make it hard. I don't hate you, I hate society. Don't take it personal if I give you a smartassed comment, I am either on my period or...", would you want to know who Jesus is?

When a person has beliefs that are formed as a result of evidence and reason, we can say that there is a causal relationship between reality and the person's beliefs about it - i.e. objective facts perceived through the senses and interpreted using reason, give rise to beliefs which are (hopefully) in accordance with reality.

What kind of connection is there between reality and faith? If faith means believing something despite the absence of satisfactory argument and/or evidence, then how can there be any such valid relationship? How can faith be anything other than irrational? How can it be claimed to be anything other than wishful or fearful thinking?

This is why rational people regard faith as worthless - because it has no apparent connection with reality. If you can demonstrate otherwise, I'd be interested to read about it.
