Some do some don't. I don't really, I may send an ecard just to say happy Ramadan. Ramadan is more about worship then giving gifts.

Ramadan is the best time in the hijjra calendar to chop off the heads of immams, mutawas and jihad leaders, and give them out to true believers like a birthday gift.

during Ramadan most Muslims usually pray tarwih pray after the evening pray in Ramadan.and we sometimes invite friends over for iftar(Arabic word for break fast meal).but Ramadan is mainly month of worship.because Allah says if we pray and devout this month of worship he will forgive us for our previous sins of the year
