I've been with Christians, Muslim, Jews, Buddhists, and even a Hindu. Actually, I've been with a few atheists and agnostics too if they count. I've never had a Scientologist but I'm working on that.
I feel like it broadens my spiritual awareness.
What do you think and what do you do to expand your spiritual knowledge?

To each his/her own. You are looking for something that others have already found. As far as Christians and their "uptight" belief on inter-faith dating, it's simple. When you have 2 parties of different faiths, there can be situations where the beliefs of either faith become a conflict in the relationship, family life/values, financial decisions, and upbringing of children. Therefore, the bible does tell it's children to remain within that realm. On the contrary, when you have 2 parties that have no beliefs, anything goes. There are possibly some simple mutual ground rules to that relationship, and in some NO rules whatsoever, which leaves room for anything good and/or bad. Also, there's the issue of parents and in-laws... boy, they can be a bigger problem to their children's relationship due to their faiths. It's sad, but true.

Among all religions, Christians are the least uptight sbout inter-faith dating.
You tell many lies. If you have been among Muslims, Jews and Buddists, you will know that these religious groups hardly date ouside their religions.

i wouldn't call it being uptight. The Bible warns Christians 'not to be unequally yoked', 'what fellowship can darkness and light have?'
In practice, what that means is that in a dating scenario, it is more likely for the Christian to find a possible mate in another Christian because of the common frame of reference.

why worry about what Religious Belief Systems others believe in as long as they believe in a HIGHER POWER no matter what NAME they use? personally I am satisfied with my Spiritual Path as I combine several Belief Systems into my own " out of the box " Ritual and Ceremonies. am certain there are many others who do the same thing by taking the best of each and combining them. as long as others respect my Belief System I will respect theirs as this is the main concern all of us should have because of free will and the freedom to worship as we choose.

I have actually married a buddhist and can tell you it causes much strife in the family. The Bible warns about being of different faiths and is so correct. I love my wife, but our family is so split and we do very little together due to commitments in our faiths and differences of values.
Go to a college to learn about other religions or whatever, but don't date with the goal of marriage someone outside of your faith. It will cause nothing but problems.

To expand your spiritual knowledge is enough to pray and ask God and read is Book. He said if you lack widsdom, ask it from Him. Inter-faith dating, yes, Solomon, was the king of Isreal maybe 4000 years ago, God told him to don't take a non-Israelite women because will take him away from God and will bring idolatry in Israel. And that was happened, and was the fall of Solomon.
If, I, as a Christian, i take a girl from another religion how we can get togheter when i want to go to church and she want something else, who we can be a light of God on earth fighting each other. Sorry for my english. Bye

It isn't a question of being uptight, it has to do with a Biblical warning. God said not to marry outside ones beliefs..

Well, I am a Christian and the Bible says not to yoke up with unbelievers. That includes dating. So that is why I don't.
