e=mc2
This formula proposes that when a body has a mass (measured at rest), it has a certain (very large) amount of energy associated with this mass. This is opposed to the Newtonian mechanics, in which a massive body at rest has no kinetic energy, and may or may not have other (relatively small) amounts of internal stored energy (such as chemical energy or thermal energy), in addition to any potential energy it may have from its position in a field of force. That is why a body's rest mass, in Einstein's theory, is often called the rest energy of the body. The E of the formula can be seen as the total energy of the body, which is proportional to the mass of the body.

Romans 13:11-13 "And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in the orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immortality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy."

Paul and his followers all died and are now desolved into soil from bacteria and the judgment day still didn't come yet!! The judgment day was supposed to come during Paul and his followers. That's why he was telling them to be prepared for the hour was coming soon.

In secular history books we read the accounts of those who witnessed what they had experianced and is handed down thru the ages as fact.
Is 1 million witnesses enough at the mountain where Moses brought the 10 commandments down that would constitute true history in the Bible?
In other words, do you believe that this really happened, and that thru the generations those 1 million witnesses have handed down the truth?

Ido. How can we not with multi media etc. do you believe it is our calling to bring the message down to earth in practical ways?
How do you love those who hate you?......
How do you bless those who curse you?
Any input would be great. Just starting a conversation.

I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own — a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotisms."

"The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. The religion which based on experience, which refuses dogmatic. If there's any religion that would cope the scientific needs it will be Buddhism."
"It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." - Albert Einstein

I don't belive it's unbelievers that will be the ones getting the plagues, but those who refuse to obey the God they believe exists. They will be those who call themselves "Christians" , but God will say "I never knew you, depart from me (referring to those who disobey)". People who don't belive a god exists, obey the law of God naturally. They aren't forced not are they decieved by supersition (like hell and ghosts. During the end times though, the false "christians" will persecute the true ones and all others that don't believe the way they do. That's my honest belief.

My opinion, not yours

It's also on CNN. Amnesty International is calling for it! I think they should do it just to get the nuts where they can no longer hurt people, and cause wars. You know, like when they try to murder people with rockets across borders. Last time I checked, it's not okay to send missles into neighboring countries, not to mention the traitorous acts to the country of Lebanon that they were guilty of. Perhaps the leadership of Lebanon should face trial for teason?

It would be the right thing to do since they allowed Hezbollah to cause all this within their borders!

How about that!

And perhaps the missle making company should sue Hezbollah for defamation, as they shot so many rockets and were so bad at it that Allah of the Koran has to go get glasses to see what they are shooting at?

Some of the respondents commented that the mega-church does not allow for personal contact with the minister (or ministers).

For those who attend these mega churches, do you find this to be the case and if so do you build a "relationship" with the church or is it a matter of going for the sake of going?

christianity is not the only religion that ask people to love their enemy. it's also in the Quran.
in this verse God is telling the believers to treat their enemy like a very close friend. and the only people who recieve this gift are those who are patient and lucky ones.

Quran 41-(34-35)
[34] The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better then verily he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend.

[35] But none is granted it (the above quality) except those who are patient - and none is granted it except the owner of the great portion in this world.

love your enemy is not only christinaity, but also in Islam.

You know how it is when you meet someone and they just seem to be significant to your life. There is someone i know who i've been attracted to for 16 years, since primary school. We were close and something almost happened with us, but timing was wrong, we went our separate ways. Everytime we meet there is an electrifying attraction between us, but we both now have partners. For years i've had dreams where we are holding eachother. My latest one was where we were standing opposite eachother and we kissed. I said no because of our partners and we just talked to eachother about how we felt. It was so real. Were our souls meeting in the dream? I cant explain it fully. I love my boyfriend, but why do i think of the other so often. Many things have happened that make me feel so strongly about this, but there is not enough space. Its like he's my first love and i've never stopped. When i dont think of him, a dream provokes me and my feelings come back. Is the spirit world pushing me to him?
