Because the religious, generally speaking, are very insecure in their beliefs. You have to be very confident before you can have a sense of humor about yourself.

I am a Christian, and I always am joking and teasing. My husband and I even had our church give us handcuffs at a Valentines Dinner! Now that is funny!
So here's some jokes.
Q-Why did God created Christians?
A-To give everyone else something to laugh about!
Q- Why did the Christian not cross the road?
A- Because is was not made of water.
Q- How did the Christian cross the road?
A- On a hope and a prayer.
Silly jokes I know, but all joking aside. Jesus loves you, and so do christians, (the real ones anyway ha ha )

I am a Christian and I have a very good sense of humor. But today's idea of having a sense of humor is sarcasm, making fun of people and using a myriad of filthy language to describe something. That is not funny, it's a sad excuse for people who have an insufficient vocabulary and low self esteem.

Of course we have a sense of humor! No where will you find more humor than with Christians! Only in our assemblies will you hear a small child being taken out of the assembly for talking too much and they shout at the back of the room "Pray for me!" on their way out.
Only during a sunday school lesson on creation will you have a child who tells you there is so much DUST under his bed that someone is either coming or going!
Only, ONLY, in our assemblies will you have our young boys get up to lead a song and start off with 'Hi Grandmama!"
Only, only, in our assemblies will you have so many women with big hats sitting up front that those behind them are sitting as if they were the Red sea...parted right down the middle.

Christians are just like every group of people - some have a sense of humor - some don't - I don't have a sense of humor when you are making fun of any religion regards of whether I believe in theirs or not!@

most of the Christians I know have a very good sense of humor. They laugh at all sorts of things. They just generally don't like toilet humor or humor that violates their beliefs.

It's hard to have a sense of humor around here because of all the negativity, but believe me, we know how to laugh and have a great time. I'm sure Jesus and his disciples shared some great jokes .

As a Buddhist, i might agree and upload Buddhists to the leading edge. locate me a monk that isn't good lively and jolly. the main known (arguably) Buddhist statue comprises a monk with a great abdomen and massive smile. Buddhists are extra heavily aligned with Agnostics or Atheists, to 3 extent (yet minus the "concept' gadget)
