Ok, I had some pretty shocking answers from other Christians.
I realize that anyone can be deceived, and when I mentioned this revival in Ontario, maybe you needed me to specify that people are getting saved and going out and preaching the gospel to others. I haven't been there, so I'm not going to judge them and say that they're not really following the Lord.

Also, my question wasn't specifically about that one revival. I was just asking what people think of revivals in general... the ones we know are of the Lord.

I was shocked that people were so eager to question my faith in Jesus because of such an innocent question. wow! Should we not encourage one another, as brothers and sister in the Lord?

First of all in a parable should you really say things like slay them before me??? Isn't that a little violent?

Secondly, how do you know this was a parable and shouldn't be taken literally? Jesus proved himself to have a temper and be somewhat violent when he went into the temple and turned over tables where the merchants were selling things.

Well, my question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Avg1TeGRAOsmWhZwN6EkuT3sy6IX?qid=20060913114726AAZ8yrD
Has been deleted cause it wasn’t a real “question” It was about the shooting that happened in a college near me – where my sister was at the time of day. Many asked me to give an update so I this is it. (for those that complained it wasn’t a *question* there is one in this one)

As of yet, the shooter was killed & another 19/f student. 6 are in Intensive care – 2 still in danger w/ abdominal and head injuries caused by bullets. The shooter had an account at www.vampirefreaks.com –which has since been removed but his “friend” had pictures of him (http://vampirefreaks.com/gallery.php?u=fatality666 I find it very disturbing.

Considering that fact the Quran did not speak anything bad about Jesus(pbuh) or his mother, in fact they are addressed with the sublimest form of language.

I saw this answer to a similar question by someone:

To make it simple:- Jesus is 2nd in the trinity, father being 1st, ghost being 3rd. each is god. jesus is father and son, the ghost is neither father or son but both. the son was begotten by the father but existed before he was begotten. the ghost preceded from the father & the son but was equal to the father and son before he existed but he is the same age as the other two as they are the same god so it is declared the father is god, son is god, holy ghost is god and these three gods make one god. so according to celestial mathematics once one is three, and three time one is one and if we take two from three one is left with two remainder and if we add the two to one instead of three we get one. and then we wonder WTF!!!!

Is it any suprise Augustine said it was irrational (while still believing it)

There have been so many huge revivals around the world over the years. In fact, there's one that's been happening since January close to where I live in Ontario. I've read stories about what's happening, and to me it's clear that the revival is happening because of God's power.

There are those who will say it's just a bunch of people following the crowd, but to me that doesn't seem likely at all. When lives are suddenly changed completely, people are healed physically, I think it's clear that God is at work.

Do you not think revivals are miraculous?

I can understand why people may not want to eat meat on the grounds of cruelty to animals (in the way it is treated whilst being reared for slaughter) or simply because they do not like to think of eating an animal but Jesus does not mention in his teachings that we should try to avoid eating meat. Why do you think he didn't mention this at all? Do any other religious texts discuss this? The Christian viewpoint almost seems to be that God gave us animals so we could eat them. What are your views on eating meat?

Honest question, not poking fun or anything.

Joseph was a man, and Mary was his wife..whom he hadn't had sex with before the birth of Jesus, obviously, but don't you think he would have wanted some action at some point they would try to have other children?
