And some claim they only meant that the 7 years of Trib was starting....(Yet an earlier prophecy by the HOY would have made this the last year of Trib)...

Hey, didn't you know the world ended in 1914 and we're all in our graves dreaming we're alive now? The quote below is from Carl Sagan:

"One prominent American religion confidently predicted that the world would end in 1914. Well, 1914 has come and gone, and - while the events of that year were certainly of some importance - the world did not, at least so far as I can see, seem to have ended. There are at least three responses that an organized religion can make in the face of such a failed and fundamental prophecy. They could have said, Oh, did we say '1914'? So sorry, we meant '2014'. A slight error in calculation. Hope you weren't inconvenienced in any way. But they did not. They could have said, Well, the world would have ended, except we prayed very hard and interceded with God so He spared the Earth. But they did not. Instead, the did something much more ingenious. They announced that the world had in fact ended in 1914, and if the rest of us hadn't noticed, that was our lookout. It is astonishing in the fact of such transparent evasions that this religion has any adherents at all. But religions are tough. Either they make no contentions which are subject to disproof or they quickly redesign doctrine after disproof. The fact that religions can be so shamelessly dishonest, so contemptuous of the intelligence of their adherents, and still flourish does not speak very well for the tough- mindedness of the believers. But it does indicate, if a demonstration was needed, that near the core of the religious experience is something remarkably resistant to rational inquiry."

If you didn't get the memo, love, well here you go. House of Yahweh is full of more bullshit than a dude ranch. I think we were supposed to be out of food all over the world last week, and Iran was supposed to be blown up yesterday too. I just turned off CNN, and well, Iran is still with us, and fortunately, Kroger still is in operation.

Is that who put that rumor out? House of Yahweh? I got stuck in a House of Yahweh service once during my church hopping days and I was sorry, very sorry I had decided to check them out. They talked for 3 hours about how God's name is Yahweh, etc. until I just had to get up and leave. I went bar hopping after that.

People have been prophecizing about the end of the world for thousands of years.

Every single one of them has been wrong so far. Why would anyone believe that this next one will be right?

The world will certainly still be here in 101 days, and also in 8 years.

Only God knows that time he will send for his church. If the house of Yahweh (whatever that is) prophesied that on that day the world would end that proof that they are a false church...I would suggest you find a new place to congregate!!

Jesus said none but the Father knew the exact time and hour. And for us to be ever vigilant for He would come like a theif in the night. Anyone who presumes to know the mind of God is just plain wrong.
