I think revivals can be miraculous. You are correct in your assessment that the people who attend these revivals are not just a bunch of people following the crowd, but are there because they have a need. Now there may be some who are just followers, you always have those, but most people who attend revivals go because they want to be "revived" in God. What a better way to do that than to go to a place where other people are wanting the same thing you are. Yes, serious minded people CAN get their lives changed completely and be healed physically through revivals, but that can also happen if you are alone in your bedroom with just you and God there. But to answer your questions, Yes, revivals are miraculous!!

Nope. I've been a crusades where as many as 15,000 new converts accepted Jesus and six months later less than 200 were churched, despite heavy followup. It's mass psychology, and when people are separated from the mass they go back to normal. I saw the same with the "holy laughter" nonsense at Vineyard. People go to have "an experience" and they manufacture one, but once they're out the atmosphere of mass hysteria the experience fades. You say lives are suddenly changed completely. I've done followup up on Harvest Crusades and Billy Graham events and most lives are changed for a few hours, days, weeks at most. Decisions made in a fever pitch of mass emotion just don't have any sustained effect. And how do you know anyone was healed physically? You see their before and after xrays and lab tests? It's bunch of urban legend crap. These stories are investigated time and again and they are either outright fraud or there's no proof. Now I can understand one or two incidents where there's no proof, but never any verifiable evidence? That's a little too coincidental. Don't you think if there were proven cases of severed spines spontaneously regenerating that it would be all over the airways with fifteen 7x24 Christian channels in every cable system?
The scripture teaches you to gentle as doves, but also wise as snakes. The meaning of that saying is to be teachable, but not gullible. You can be so open-minded that your brain falls out.

Not all spirits are of God. When miracles are happening and they do not blatantly draw people to Jesus for his salvation, Then those 'good' miracles are of the Devil. The devil does these things to draw good people with needs away from God, because Satan loves destruction and is willing to do good things for the overall accomplishment. The Bible warns us that Satan uses a counterfeit. Much like a good church but not real. You can use that knowledge to determine whether or not This revival is of God or Satan

Some revivals, especially small town ones, have been known to be miraculous in many ways.
God can do whatever he wants to do, whenever he sees fit.

It all depends upon which 'God' it is. You can easily and quickly know. All you have to do is ask them which day the hold a being holy. The sunday or the Sabbath. If they say anything but the Sabbath, the what ever it is that they are doing IS NOT FROM GOD, but from the Devil. You see Satan wants to destroy God' government, and the 4th commandment is the seal of God, so if Satan can change, conceal, or otherwise dismiss the Sabbath, then he can hold you in sway to himself. My advise to you is to Study your Bible.

The only miraculous thing happening is the mass abandonment of reason by the attendees, although of course there is scientific explanation for mass madness.
