Ok, I had some pretty shocking answers from other Christians.
I realize that anyone can be deceived, and when I mentioned this revival in Ontario, maybe you needed me to specify that people are getting saved and going out and preaching the gospel to others. I haven't been there, so I'm not going to judge them and say that they're not really following the Lord.

Also, my question wasn't specifically about that one revival. I was just asking what people think of revivals in general... the ones we know are of the Lord.

I was shocked that people were so eager to question my faith in Jesus because of such an innocent question. wow! Should we not encourage one another, as brothers and sister in the Lord?

I agree with the first two answers to this question.

We need revival.

We do need to judge what is done (in and because of ) revivals as well as regular church meetings, to make sure that it lines up with the Bible. Satan is sneaky, he will try and introduce false doctrines where ever he can, to make a true move of God into something worldly (unscriptural).

I do not know what is going on in Ontario, some people always get carried away in the flesh, so we need to be careful and not do things just because everything else seems OK. It is a difficult thing, because we are to be lead by The Spirit, but we can easily be fooled.

God be with you.

Yes we should encourage one another, but revival is all in the heart. It has little to do with someone else coming in and preaching. Although sometimes thats what it takes to stir people, but revival must start in our own hearts.

You are right, we should encourage each other. God knows we have enough discouragement around us as it is. I answered you last question about revivals and thought it was a good question. Your question did not make me question your faith in Jesus. I consider you my brother in the Lord. God Bless You.

Not sure I'm understanding the question properly, but revivals are great. Anytime that someone else comes to a true knowledge of the love of God, then who is not to rejoice.

You are absolutely right. We do need to encourage each other and not condone others for things we don't understand. Good for you! Be strong in your faith and let no man tear asunder. We should always celebrate with others who have found Christ and help lift them up when the journey gets tough. The only way we grow in our faith is when we overcome diversity. Blessings to you.

I hope I didn't offend you. I was just trying to give you an idea of how to measure a revival. By what is being taught, not by the miracles themselves. God bless
