The last time I was in court I had to swear on the bible, but nobody asked if I was Jewish. After that I tried to get a restraining order against my ex-girlfriend, I had to swear on the bible again. I'd rather just knock her upside the head with that bible. Is that so bad?

It depends on the court (which state/county etc) whether you swear on the Bible or not. I recently testified in court and no Bible was used. Due to separation of church and state, it may be that the Bible is not used in any court for swearing in a witness.

no their is not a problem with that in court, they just make you sign a declaration saying you will tell the truth, iam a christian and refused becaused the bible says you must not swear by anything in heaven or on earth. funny that they want us to do this when in the book they get us to do this by actually tells us not to!
