has powerful allies.

to crush a small rebels colonies should not take more than what 6 months at the most!

And the rebellion for what a tax to pay mostly for the french and Indian war fought mostly for the colonies benefit!

And to day the tax would be about .007 cents on the dollar!

The G-man was a big anti-establishment type. He'd have gone with George and Robespierre. But He would more than likely have become a thorn in the sides of both once power took hold of their souls. Especially that Robespierre freak.

I don't know about kings and generals, remember! he was a son of a village carpenter.
But since he was an early socialist, I think he would fight to free the slaves, help the poor farmers under the Russian Czar, and fast with Gandhi.

King George had serious mental problems, the British empire abused people, over taxed, and was greedy.

In the bible, there are several stories when people rose up against evil. Obedience is good when your ruler is just. When it is evil, it must be overthrown.
