Because whatever you look for in History, archeology, geology, science, there is always more and more evidence that the Bible is a Fact. To understand this you really have to ask Christ into your life, be sincere and pray for wisdom and understanding. Then the Holy Spirit will fill you with all truth and every question you ever asked about God.

Who said the Bible was Myth, I'll have to be honest and say that this is the first time I have come upon anyone mention that. However, people will live in denial, and believe in what they want to believe, instead of the Truth. Only God can reveal that to you, it's a very special experience that will change your life and never doubt again. God Bless You

I see you don't only believe everything you read, but you also believe everything you see on TV. As for the content of those shows, i haven't seen them so i can't comment on how they portray the information... however, the History Channel is a business like any other and they will do what they need to do to get viewers so they continued to make money through advertising. The Discovery channel does shows about "real" haunted houses... These are shows based on anecdotal evidence and not really trustworthy, but they are interesting enough to attract viewers.

they have had some great shows on Egyptian mythology, UFOs, hauntings. Discovery had a great series on Ancient Mysteries which basically took a scholarly look at the Bible - as a non-believing pagan I thought those were great and informative. It's entertainment people.

Because the book is historical, and so they investigate the possibility that it is even non-fiction... even for an atheist those shows are interesting, because they aren't really that biased.
