... and hard to refute even up to now? Why people have so much faith in things like myths and tales? If you need to say something doesn't exist, it is impossible, it can be anywhere in this universe and could have happened already unless you have a time machine.

Pardon the ambiguity...couldn't think of a better term to differentiate between the two...

Do moderate Christians worry about being attacked if they don't agree with the more zealous Xtians? I'm looking for a plausible explanation for why the perception of being a "Christian" has undergone such a radical shift in a relatively short amount of time. When did hardcore Christianity become the norm (at least it seems that way to me on Y!A anyway...)?

Please try to avoid politics or involving Islam in your answer.

Some say that it refers to Islam & others that it is the Papal Authority and the American State, that is two extremes, as many Islamic practioners say that the USA is the devil's power whereas many USA residents and 'allies' think the opposite way.Plz give facts to support answers. Many thanks.

I saw a Simpsons episode yesterday, and although it's probably exeggarated, I'm sure it has a ground, especially that the majority and the ideal American is protestant.
So, what do "normal" Americans think of Chatolics?

Could it be that Christianity is just a rich, fancy club who requires membership to get to in there (heaven)?

if not, then how come if you aren't a member then you are denied access?

The Greek meaning of the Devil "Diabolos" is "SLANDERER"...
Jesus said "Satan was a MURDERER from the beginning"

Why would you want to be like Satan and a "SLANDERER" and verbal "MURDERER" of Benny Hinn?

REMEMBER Jesus was critisized for TRUE THINGS HE SPOKE WITH HIS LIPS BUT people were CRITISIZING IN DARKNESS:

Mark 14:57-58 And some stood up and bore FALSE WITNESS against Him, saying, "We heard him say, 'I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another, not made with hands.

Indeed Jesus said these words:

John 2:19 Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple(referring to His body), and in three days I will raise it up."

If you are a Christian who loves the Lord and read the BIBLE, you should know that slandering the MAN OF GOD brings CURSES in your life.

Why do you join the world(i.e websites, books) in its diabolic behavior to critisize the man of God?It is only the devil who SLANDERS?He did that to God in heaven!

I believe God exists outside of time, that all Earth time is stationary to Him. (Relativity is sort of a basis for all this, stating that as a body approaches the speed of light, the effects of time are reduced. If a human could go .5 c or 1/2 light-speed, we would age half as fast. Particle accelerators prove this theory as radioactive atoms with half-lifes of fractions of a second can be preserved with substantial velocities for several seconds. This is scientifically verifiable). Assuming that is true, could the rapture be happening already? Could that be why innocent people die of disease and famine? I know that the Bible says it lasts like 7 years or whatever, but, again, what if God exists outside of time? 7 years to us could be the blink of His eye.

I am a christian and i dont hat anyone, ever under any circumstances. I go to church every sunday i participate in community acctivities. a common miss conception is that christians hate gays, but that is not true either. The way i look at a homosexual person is the same way i look at an adulturer im not going to hate the person that is cheating on their wife, but im also not going to hook that person with other women so he can continue. the common misconception is that all christians hate others, but it seems that the only christians that hate others are the ones that make on television. this frusturates true christians, because its a constant internal battle.
i would say that most athiests or people that just arnt christians dont believe because of christians that they have seen on television or even had words with. these are the "holier than thou" christians who believe that everything they do is justified because they are christians.
