I believe God exists outside of time, that all Earth time is stationary to Him. (Relativity is sort of a basis for all this, stating that as a body approaches the speed of light, the effects of time are reduced. If a human could go .5 c or 1/2 light-speed, we would age half as fast. Particle accelerators prove this theory as radioactive atoms with half-lifes of fractions of a second can be preserved with substantial velocities for several seconds. This is scientifically verifiable). Assuming that is true, could the rapture be happening already? Could that be why innocent people die of disease and famine? I know that the Bible says it lasts like 7 years or whatever, but, again, what if God exists outside of time? 7 years to us could be the blink of His eye.

Upallnite - Au contraire. Thought alone would lead to creation. Think of it like this: you had a math test. You would have infinite time to study every formula and hypothesis ever written. Therefore, why would the act of actually studying be necessary? The test and the "studying" would exist at the same space-time. All knowledge of mathematics would be at your disposal yet no time would be required to access it as it occupies the same point in time as the test. The act of studying has necessarily become obsolete. Why are you so interested in my questions, anyways, if you think it's all BS?

1) Correct, God lives outside of time, well at least our earthly time.
2)innocent people are always going to keep diying regardless, we the people (exp. like the US) have to help with the sick one's, it's a never ending task.
3)God's going to come for His people, then the anti-christ is going to be in control for 7 years, the first 3 1/2 years he's going to be nice to people, so they will belive in him and get the 666 sign on them, then he's going to reveal him self to everyone that he's the devil and there will be chaos and distruction for 3 1/2 years.
4) In the original language the bible was written in, it says it was going to happen in a "closing & opening of an eye" people have translated it as a blink of an eye, but by doing that, people get a different meaning from it. To some people their eyes are going to be opened and see Christ come, but for others their eyes are going to be closed, they won't see his coming, the people left behind in the world probably won't even realize the missing people since i think very few are really living a life that is pleasing to God. hopefully this will help. :)

wow,we may not want to travel at the speed of light because wed proably not be able to see one another,so there for we are like in a since a departicle accelerators beings since we are decaying all the time, we may have started out at the speed of light and are now solid masses, mostly water based.so when i die what orginally was in me that made me will return to once it came, then in what we define as time will continue until all particle are joined together or to some seperated and then the whole process will start over again but will be altered because change is constant and this i believe is life.It doesnt changes but becomes renewed and is transformed.id go on more but im finally getting tired, tomorrow i see my grandmother shes 92,thats alot of days to trust the creator in,shes great...and makes the best homemade bread that will proably get her in heaven...goodnight

If God exists outside of time then he cannot create anything. The act of creating is bound by time. Get another hypothesis.

You are assuming that the rapture is real. Show me evidence that it is. Until then, I'll be happy to eat, drink, and be merry with your mom. Since this is all there is, no need worrying about much else. Life is too short.

Why are you going through so much headache trying to rationalise how God works?

Perhaps but the events occurring during this 7 year period are happening on Earth - thus I would submit constrained to our linearity.

1) Your math is off - you need to go about 0.86 c to get a time dilation factor of two.

2) God can do whatever he wants, so the rest of it is plausible.

However, God did place us in time so wouldn't his directives and words to us be in a dimension we could understand?
