Think about it. The only people who give negative feedback on a spiritual response are those who don't believe in anything or are atheist. If one doesn't believe in religion then that's their sad business but they should stop acting like those who do believe in religion are "nuts".

Christians ought to post questions with regard to the message of biblical memories. Atheist and Bible haters hate faith for the comparable reason fundamentalists go incorrect: via fact they concentration on the literal translation of it rather looking previous it and understanding the message of the story. the three Little Pigs, might you have faith that 3 pigs unquestionably geared up properties and a bad wolf got here and blew them down? No of direction not The message of the three little pigs is that confusing paintings will pay off, do not in hassle-free terms build something quite and right now via fact it won't final.

God's opinion is the most important but I think people appreciate knowing from personal experiences what you feel. Some of the answers are to long to read and I imagine that is why some are given a tumbs down. But you know the bible says that his word doesn't return void so keep it up!

Copy and pasting bible scriptures is merely regurgitating something which has already been said and not adding your own insight or opinions merely "quoting the party line". Throwing the god card in a debate is almost always a last ditch effort hoping to appeal to blind faith. Usually someone who tries to appeal to blind faith is b.s.ing you and can't think of any other reasons or logic to defend their position.

Your question is a great one....when I read it I thought about how the words in the "King James version" is hard for most to understand...so when we recite the holy words from this bible sometimes it turns people off because they can't follow, can't understand what is being said....so if you learn to quote the bible using one of the newer modern versions it peels away the mystery of the old English. It does not change the meaning it clears it up so people will want to hear more.

Some people want to know how much have you learned by heart. And when you use the verses all the time they think of you as someone who really did not know better. In fact, they are more interested in seeing how you apply your knowledge to yourself. What you have learned from your day to day reading of the Bible. It is not how many verses you could pick up easily when asked, but how much had it been to you as person....are you doings things rightly? have you become judgemental of other people? do you give the respect to other people's belief?

Yes, what God thinks is the only thing that matters.

You get a thumbs down when you quote scripture because the devil made 'em do it. Haha. Really though.

I know what you mean. People ask questions wanting to know why we believe such and such and if we give them an answer without the Bible they want proof - but you give them the Biblical proof and they don't like it because you actually provide them with an answer - they were smug enough to think did not exist.

Then you have those who challenge the meaning of the scriptures once we provide it - and then you have those who accuse you of not thinking for yourself.

What they really want is someone secular to pat them on the back for their cunning in trying to embarrass Christians by asking a seemingly unanswerable question.

They go in circles and really hope no one can provide an answer.

ah don't take it personally. the thumbs down is more then likely from a Jehovah witness who has complained about the Christmas program at school. so now it is called a winter program. schools are now not allowing a Christmas party at school or gift exchange because of the Jehovah witness. but yet they stand in line at the east egg hunt for free candy, prizes and games. yet the parents go to their work Christmas party and take the Christmas gift from their boss.
