Like all things concerning history, it was written after the fact...
Can't write history before it happens can we?
Some scholars believe that the Gospel of Mark was the first Gospel to be written and they believe that it first appeared no later than 15 years after Christ's death...
All of the original Pauline Epistles had to be written before his death in 68 A.D.
The Gospels written by his disciples Matthew, John, and Mark clearly show that at least 3 of the people who wrote the Gospels knew him and that is not to mention Peter another eyewitness and disciple...

The Old Testament was an oral history passed down from generation. The first 5 Books are considered written by Moses. Moses was a learned man having live the life of Egyptian Prince. Other books were written by historians, poets and prophets. These books
were written down by scribes in some cases and other times by a specific person,i.e,David
The New Testament Books were Letters written by specific Apostles. Matthew, Mark, John, Luke, Acts(Luke 2). The remain books are letters Paul wrote to different Christian Congrations over time. Keep in mind Paul wrote answers we don't know exactly what the questions were. The books of the Apostles were circulated around the known word so they were rewritten many times by many people. Scholars believe the earliest written documents were from 90 AD.
The Bible was codified much later by church fathers. There are many writings that were not included in the Bible we use today. You can find the omitted books at the Library.
In short the Old Testament tells Us Christ was promised and the New Testament tells us the promise was kept.

the Bible is not written in the the exact time Jesus was preaching.. if I'm not wrong.. the Bible should be written after Jesus died..the different books in the Bible are written by people of different times...with God's guidance, these people wrote the different books of the Bible. however. I'm not sure how long after was the Bible revealed

The creation of the bible is still under dispute by religious scholars to this day. So, it is unlikely you will get a valid answer in this forum.
What we do know is that the oldest known bible to exist is the Codex Sinaiticus and it appears to have been "written" in the middle of the 4th Century.
The Catholic church invented the original Bible and it was not canonized (made official) until 397 CE at the Council of Carthage.
That bible was edited by a group authorized by King James in 1611.
And, that's all we really know about the bible.

It was written by 4 different people. in different places within about thirty yrs. of jesus' death and resurection. I beleive there stories were true because they have no contradictory statements, and they all tell about the same basic events. Eventually, these men were killed because they wouldn't admit they were lying rather than face the death penalty. Maybe they were telling the truth.
Think about it. If you made up a story, about having personally seen a manraise from the dead, would you admit you were lying before you got dipped in boiling oil. I would.
Now, if I actually saw a man rise from the dead and accend into heaven, I'd like to think I would give my life to the cause of getting everyone else to heaven with that guy

I assume you mean new testament?!
Most of them were written by the men who were there about 15 to 20 years after Christs death!
Some letters sooner!
The last Rev. was written about 50 years after by John who wrote the Gospel of John about 15 years after.
The newest of the Old testament was written about 400 years before Christ!
Hope this helps!

The OLD TESTAMENT was written before Jesus . even though there are references to a coming Messiah in the last books of it.
The NEW TESTAMENT was written years (some of it hundreds of yrs after)after Jesus was preaching.
As soon as someone could hand write both books .

No, all the books that are written aabout Jesus were written anywhere from 30 - 60 years after his death! None of the writers in the bible are eye-wittness accounts of Jesus!

The four gospels included in the Bible were written between 50 AD and 110 AD. It wasn't until around 185 AD when they were chosen from among the dozens of early gospels by Irenaeus of Lyons and all other gospels, such as the Gospel of Thomas and the Gospel of Judas, were deemed heretical.

No, it was not but it was written(NT) during the apostles' lifetime. During that one lifetime, the Bible has been in existence(in circulation within the Church that time and OT among the Jews) though not in the collective form it is now.
