Rev 20:6 says:
6 Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.

Rev5:9,10 says:
9 And they sing a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, because you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.”
My point is this: if all Christians are in Heaven who are they ruling over on Earth?
What does Psalms 37:10,11,29 mean then, because it says the earth will be here forever?

stephen green of christian voice was arrested for handing out leaflets that contained biblical scripture in regards to homosexuality at a gay rally in wales.

if this is regarded as homophobic and an offence in law - why isnt the bible banned because of its homophobia?

im an atheist and couldnt care less if someone is gay - but if we are going to allow christianity how can we outlaw some of its teachings?

in a free country dont we have to let people give their opinions - no matter how odious those opinions may be?

homosexuality is a minority - and those that think homosexuality is a sin are a minority. Which minority do we protect?

I'm just wondering if there is a correlation between any religios beliefs and being under psychiatric care. Do you now or have you ever suffered from depression or bi-polar disorder, and if so what religion were you brought up in and what religion are you now? I read the article that we are possibly "hard wired" to seek God, and I am NOT suiggesting that religion=crazy, but often I hear how God is the answer to all sorrow and such. Without preaching, would you please tell me if Religion has had any impact on your mental state or vice versa?

It just explains how all existing religions of World originated from Jainism. I'll soon write a blog abt it and let you'll know more abt it...

Disclaimer: I'm an Agnostic, and I pretty much only read the two or three Christian friends I have, and all the other responses from Christians I usually skip over, so I wouldn't blame anyone else for doing the same thing.

Considering that He/She gave us a mind with which to do so, it doesn't seem unreasonable to think that God (presuming that God does exist) would be highly amused by some of the 'Off The Wall' theories that both believers and non believers seem to come up with when addressing the issues of religion and religious beliefs.

There is verse in Bible which in hebrew and it says..
"Elai Elai lama sabach thani"

Most of the translators translate this as
"Oh God, Oh God why had you forsaken me"

Christians say that Jesus christ went to cross on his own will.. and said the above lines when he was put to cross..

My question is.. If his own will was involved why did he say "Oh God why had you forsaken me"??

If u translate this verse in Arabic then it says..
"Allah Allah lama tarak tani"

becoz Hebrew and Arabic are sister languages..

And logically "Ellai Ellai" doesn't sound like "Oh God, Oh God.." infact it sounds "Allah Allah whay had u forsaken me" moreover quran says that Jesus Christ wasn't put to cross.. instead an another person was put to cross.. hence he said "why had u forsaken me" and jesus Christ was saved..

Plz no slang language.. i would love to have ur knowledge.. so no abuses... neither to islam or christianity..

If it is that God created everything including us, we obviously have to had come from Him right. So then at the end of it all, everything including us have to go back to Him. Therefore, hell and heaven, if there are such places, can only be temporary. Please do not qoute bible, let your common sense and logic prevail on this one.

So instead of just clicking his fingers and saving everyone from eternal damnation he decides to go live in a small outpost in the roman empire and get killed. Apparently this has saved us, saved us from what; a problem he caused by 1) creating eternal damnation and 2) over reacting to Adam and Eve and deciding that death was the way forward.

why does god go about things in a way that is totally unbelievable, surely this not the best way to get worshipers ?

according to you lot (Xians) god is a little cry-baby. "oooh noo wah wah, someone just did something humans and animals have been doing since the first multi-celled creature left the sea, I can’t look, it’s so bad”

what is His problem with natural urges and feelings? Why is he so damn sensitive, you would think someone with so much power would be a little less uptight, right?
