Rev 20:6 says:
6 Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.

Rev5:9,10 says:
9 And they sing a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, because you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.”
My point is this: if all Christians are in Heaven who are they ruling over on Earth?
What does Psalms 37:10,11,29 mean then, because it says the earth will be here forever?

the 144000 anoited taken from the earth will assist Jesus rule over the other sheep, and those resurrected. they are suited for the role as they are taken from all periods of time and have seen and understand what everyone on the earth has been through in their lives. after the thousand years, who knows what else they will do

I'm not too sure about the Book of Revelations. I think a lot if not most/all of it is the descriptions of visions or certainly a discussion of spiritual matters in figurative language. Hence it should not be taken totally literally. It's not the only book like that either - Genesis is surely a story told by an ancient people who had no concept of Evolution nor the factual basis of Archaeology. It seems fitting that the first and final book have in common that they are not literal but allegorical or conceptual

first what is heaven?
Heaven is a dwelling place of God. In the old testament God created man to be praising Him. if we can remember Jesus parable about the kingdom of God and revelation ; God would eternally with his people in all His glory. There believers have free access to the tree of life.

in revelation 21;1-4,it was written that there is going to be a new heaven and a new eath, for that the first heaven and the first earth had passed away.looking into isiah 65;17-25,the people of God are to live happily on the new earth.

A vicar friend of mine once told me a joke

A protestant, a Jew and a muslim all died on the same day at the gates of St Peter they were met by Peter himself as he was checking that those that were there had the right to be.
He asked the potestants name and he said John Smith...Peter said correct your in room 96 but remember dont make any noise going past room 54...
Then he asked the jew's name and he said David Rosenberg...correct said Peter...your in room 85 but remember not to make any noise outside room 54
Then he asked the muslim's name and he said Mohammed Al Sayib...correct said Peter...Your in room 103...but remember Peter said not to make a noise outside room 54, as Mohammed was about to leave he asked Peter, why can't I make a noise outside room 54, to which peter replied thats where all the catholics are and they think there the only ones up here.

Gives you something to think about! It gave me alot to thibk about as am a catholic, well raised as one anyway

Christians won't be doing anything in heaven, nor will anyone else since heaven is just a myth. Waiting for the Rapture is like waiting for Santa Claus, or Godot for the educated

They are talking about Martyr's. People who have died because of their faith. Not all Christians are in Heaven. I'm a Christian, and i'm here on Earth.

Where did you get the idea that Christians go to heaven? You're absolutely correct, we will all remain on the earth.
The Bible does NOT teach that people go to heaven
