Jesus... This question became an issue because back when the Beatles were really popular one of them made an offhand remark that they felt like they were as famous as Jesus...
That remark sparked a huge controversy with church groups calling for boycots of their music and asking that they be deported...
The Beatle that made the remark (I think it was George) issued a public apology a few days later...

Jesus has had so much longer to build a fan base, so while I might prefer the Beatles, I think the answer is probably Jesus.

Of course Jesus and he has been mentioned in Quran at many places and there is a chapter on Mary. Jesus's entierr message and life is well preservd in Quran and as Quran itself is un-changeable, Jesus is far too popular, honored and respected There is no better palce to meet Jesus than Quran Qurna is read five times a day in prayers by millionsof Muslims.

during the beatles' time...it was true...but, jesus was popular long long before the beatles...obviously the CHRIST is popular...and he's been talked about way ahead than the beatles...c'mon beatles' fans...concede...:)
