Here is the discription of a Wise and learned Man found in vedic Literature
1. Sees all women except his wife as Mother
2. Sees others belongings as straw in the street
3. Sees every Living entity as Sprit Soul, part and parcels as children of God.

knowledge and wisdom are ongoing processes. to be wise and knowledgaable now might be fine but tomorrow the knowledge and wisdom you have might seem silly and stupid even to yourself. all of us every day we wake up are a little different we were than the day before. this is a challenge to all of us to keep learning and an open mind to new thoughts and ideas.

Not necessarily. Being wise is knowing when to use the knowledge and when not to. It's based on life experiences and book knowledge and just being aware of what is going on around you.

Look up in the book of daniel(bible). He undergo a 10 day only vegies and water base food and he become the wisest man in Egypt. Try it, you will see the result. Nowadays, modern man tend to be stupid because they eat too much junk food. The bible also say fear the Lord is the begining of Wisdom. Believe in God and you are the wisest.

To me it is having the knowledge necessary, and the power to judge what is right and wrong. Judgment is important. It's funny, but I know a lot of stupid smart people. They know facts, but don't know what to do with them. That is not wisdom.

Not essentially. Simple common sense used at the right time...a man may be learned but would not essentially be wise if he does not use his common sense for the issue in hand...he who has that gift is wiser, education only makes a man spit what is already known, there is nothing greater in erudition...
