A question I have often pondered in the past and came to the conclusion that God doesn't hear me usually at the same time I'm not hearing God.

The advice to my kids rang heavily through my pondering "You have two ears and one mouth, you should be doing twice as much listening as talking" For me I realized that I was doing all the talking and not giving God a chance to respond.

this isn't really a question with an answer,
but i would have to say that in my own opinion, that God doesn't exist to answer questions or answer prayers.
He made us and let us go on our merry way. I think it's our task in life to fight for ourselves rather than cuddle up and wait for him to fix things. When things go wrong, I don't look at it as God ignoring me, or God not hearring me. It's just life in progress. Jokingly, you could call it the "Ant Farm" theory. -Say you had an ant farm, you're not gonna listen all those ants, you put them in the farm and now they are free to make their own decisions. You haven't really abandon them when you don't save them from cave-ins, your just letting life run it's course. Ok, maybe i've strayed a bit, but this is just my 2 cents. [and i'm not arguing with anyone on this, if you don't agree, that's fine, your beliefs are your own, let no one say you are wrong.]

God hears you! Maybe you are asking for something you shouldn't have or maybe you have to earn it.

I always start off my prayers by Thanking God for all the wonderful things in my life., and then I apologize for everything we have done to this beautiful planet God gave us.

I listen a little closer. Sometimes when you think he hasn't heard you and therefore hasn't answered, you most likely weren't listening closely enough or did not like the answer you were given. Also, somtimes it takes awhile for the perfect set of circumstances to allow Him to bring your prayer to fruition. Be patient.

Wait patiently either by staying still or just getting on with things. You could rattle the cage by persisting. He will not tarry he will come to you in the right timing. Did you ask correctly? Then Wait

Keep trying. Keep praying. Have faith in your prayer. He may not come when you want him, but he'll be there on time. Read a few scriptures.Refer to your bible for your feelings. However you are feeling, there should be a scripture about it. If your bible doesn't have a reference guide just open it and whatever page it opens on, read it.

He hears you. I assure you.

Sometimes the answer is no.
Sometimes the answer is not yet.

It's OK to keep asking, too.
Just ask that His will be done in the matter.
He always has the better plan for your life.

GOD is a metaphor. If you want him to hear you, first you have to figure out what he is a metaphor for. Then, you have to figure out a way to make that thing hear. Then, you have to learn how to speak so that that thing can hear you.

It's quite simple, really.

THE DEITY answers every question in three ways -- " yes "
" no " or " wait awhile and see " THE DEITY doesn't work on the same timeframe mortals do because we don't exist long enough.
