Jesus willingly offered to give his life in order to save mankind from the lasting effects of sin and death, something our first parents Adam and Eve, brought upon all of us. He did not remain sleeping in death, but was resurrected back to heaven by his Father. That was the greatest act of love ever shown by someone. Soon, our enemy death will be gone and mankind will have the opportunity to live forever on earth without sickness or death.

No, God sent Jesus to save, and Man chose to kill Jesus, and Jesus chose to die in our place to save us from eternal shame.
Even though God knew that Man would do this, He still sent His Son, and Jesus, even though conceived through immaculate conception, was human while on earth and could die, but chose to be nailed to the cross to save us.
But interesting question, makes me think about the time he wiped out the world (i.e. Noah's time). But the people were supposedly so evil and against God that He had to do that.

No, because Jesus rose again, and God knew He would.
Jesus was sent as the sacrificial offering for all of our sins.
When Jesus rose again, the veil in the Temple was torn in half, from the top to the bottom. That means that anyone can approach the Throne of Grace because of Jesus' sacrificial death on the cross, and His resurrection. [previously, only a priest could go behind the curtain and enter the Holy of Holies]
If this sound fictional to you right now, that's fine. But one day EVERY knee shall bow and EVERY tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. The choice is yours. Now or later, friends.

"God sent him to earth to die in order to save mankind"... unfortunatly, if you go with the belief that that god created all of us, then he sent us all here to die and with some kind of purpose. All he did with the whole Jesus scandel is incluse his own son in the equation and gave him a pretty big purpose. Otherwise, he was no different then us miricles aside.

Jesus is part of God. Jesus was the word of God in the flesh. So, no it is not murder and God knew Jesus would rise again. God don't answer to no one, God is almighty.

I guess it depends on whatever emphasis you choose. Jehovah's Witnesses look at a cross and see the glorifying of the murder of Jesus. Others see it as a willing sacrifice for the redemption of mankind. Same scenario, different perspective.

not murder. there is a difference between killing and murder. JESUS volunteered to die in order to fulfill GOD'S PLAN. if i murder you by whatever means i choose you have no chance to defend yourself. if we are both fighting each other with the same opportunity to defend our persons this is killing.

Actually, Jesus was sentenced to death during a legal proceeding. Therefore, according to the laws at the time, he was excecuted for violating the law. That is not murder, but capital punishment.

It is not murder if one spiritual being dies for all of mankind's murder, sins and sins to come. It grand atonement you silly silly man for there is but one god and without the free choice it gave you nobody would murder nobody this death and resurrection was necessary not to negate our very own free will. Your spirit guides you, but your mind misleads you.
