I mean, when some one makes this ridiculous statement isn't it obviously based on misinterpretations and desperation aimed to bring people down to their level. Oh yeah science is a religion, and if you aren't part of it you don't get any medicine or get to use technology that it created (sarcasm).

And the people seem to have no basis for the statement. They love the dictionary definition that says something followed with faith and ardor. Well great, but a few people religiously following science doesn't make science a religion. A few Christians liking the devil doesn't make all Christianity devil worship. Evolution isn't a religion either. Everything that can't be explained perfectly but is still probable isn't a religion. If so, then every time see evidence then make a logical assumption you are following a religion. At least evolution is based on evidence and fact and is looking for answers, not just trying to clog up brains and prevent people from looking deeper than an old book.

The going legal preference is about 24-27 weeks..
Is it at all disturbing that there is clinical proof that the human fetus experiences pain at around the 20 week mark? This could be a conservative guess, but who knows, would you err on the safe side, give a human infant the benefit of the doubt?
How would this information effect your opinion on when a fetus gets rights as a living creature (since animals in general also get rights) if it is able to experience the pain of it's own death?

the athiest people say that there isnt a god... but there is a devil... but if there wasnt a god than how would they be here in the first place, and does it make sence to have good to balance out evil. or to conquer it or something like that? what would bring on being an athiest, and whats there reason to be one. besides that they dont have proof god exsits, but then how can they explain the good in people from people that are just plain mean?
i have never understood any of that

Many people say that Jesus Christ was not a real person, but what about Paul? Did some overzealous Christians create a mythological person named Paul who happened to pen over 1/3 of the New Testament?

Everything from the Bible was written by men, ancient men that is. The stories depict women as weak, meant to serve the man and just plain inferior. Is God sexist?

This is from wikipedia on the missing link.
"A popular term to designate transitional forms with is 'the missing link'. The term is especially used in the regular media, but inaccurate and confusing. This is partly because it implies that there was a single link missing to complete the picture, which now has been discovered. In reality, the continuing discovery of more and more transitional fossils is further adding to our knowledge of evolutionary transitions. The term probably arose in the 19th century where the awaited discovery of a 'missing link' between humans and 'lower' animals was considered to be the final proof of evolution."
You can also find a record of the species homo sapien's long evolution record and all the species along the way if you search "human evolution". So if you don't believe in evolution that's fine, but don't spread lies about it. I think intelligent design and creationism is hopefulness and delusion but I don't go around telling people its devil worship.

"Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord." Colossians 3:18

"...the holy women of the past...were submissive to their own husbands"
1 Peter 3:5

"I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes"
1 Timothy 2:9

I have recieved the worst reactions from this one, now remember these are not my words these are the WORDS OF GOD, so please do not get angry at me.

"12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. 15 But women will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety."
1 Timothy 2:12-15

Demons, witches, evil spirits.......Christians believe in the occult more than the people who dabble in it! Shouldn't superstitions and simple explanations to the vast complexities of life be dying right about now in human history?
