No i have friends who are atheists. We do not discuss religon out of mutual respect for each other

Of course, all negatively. Just look at Gehad, Isreal and Hitler's Christianity. Foir good examples of what the power religion can do.

I would be cautious about how close my children got to someone who might influence them in the wrong beliefs, but my faith is strong and my witness maybe seen in my actions (by the grace of God).

I'm an 'atheist' and my two closest friends are Catholic. Although my sister once has a girl tell her she couldn't be friends with her anymore when she found out she didn't believe in her god...

Friendship should be about mutual respect. Religion doesn't have to come up at all in a friendship.

I can be friends with people of other religions. Its just that people of other religion's do not want to be friends with me because of my Religion.

I don't choose my friends based on religion, I have jews, muslims, christians, catholics, agnostics, atheists, hindus as friends and I respect what they think as I expect them to respect what I think.

No, although I prefer to be around fellow Atheists. However, I would not ever have anything to do with anyone who is pro-life.

As long as they keep their beliefs to themselves and don't pressure me into their religion, than yes. I do have a few Christian friends and it works for us.
