No, God did not send anybody to redeem fallen angels. The angels were in the presence of God Himself and knew full well what they were doing when they rebelled. They also knew the consequences of it. When they rebelled they were lost for all eternity with no redemption possible.

thats one thing that we have over the demons and Satan, even angels!!! Mankind has been given a chance for redemption and salvation. Once an angel committed a great sin(disobedience, sexual, pride, etc) that angel is cast out and is never given a chance for redemption. Satan's judgement has already been set, it has already happened in God's eyes, but in mankind's eyes we are still waiting for Satan to be cast into the lake of fire.

There is no redemption for fallen angels, demons, evil spirits, and Satan himself. Thats why he is trying to take as many humans down with him, so hes not alone!

If you read the book of Enoch at all, the fallen angels go to Enoch, because they cannot directly talk to God because of their sexual sin, they ask Enoch if God can forgive them for what they have committed. God comes to Enoch in a vision/dream and tells him their is no redemption for the fallen angels, their judgement has already been set.

Satan, like Adam and Eve were perfect.
They failed to show love, the perfect bond of union and their hearts became wicked.
See how Satan is described here in Ezekiel 28:12-17.
He was a cherb with the responsibliy of watching over the earth.
Later, he was cast down and confinded to the earth in 1914.
“‘“You are sealing up a pattern, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13 In E′den, the garden of God, you proved to be. Every precious stone was your covering, ruby, topaz and jasper; chrys′o·lite, onyx and jade; sapphire, turquoise and emerald; and of gold was the workmanship of your settings and your sockets in you. In the day of your being created they were made ready. 14 You are the anointed cherub that is covering, and I have set you. On the holy mountain of God you proved to be. In the midst of fiery stones you walked about. 15 You were faultless in your ways from the day of your being created until unrighteousness was found in you.
16 “‘“Because of the abundance of your sales goods they filled the midst of you with violence, and you began to sin. And I shall put you as profane out of the mountain of God, and I shall destroy you, O cherub that is covering, from the midst of the fiery stones.
17 “‘“Your heart became haughty because of your beauty. You brought your wisdom to ruin on account of your beaming splendor. Onto the earth I will throw you. Before kings I will set you, [for them] to look upon you

No, nor the fallen angels that fell with him. This is another reason for the hate Satan and his angels feel for mankind, that we are worthy of redemption, but they are not. However, we must remember, each one of them were perfect, while we are all sinners.

Why would He want to or need to redeem a fallen angel?

Good question... I guess we can talk about that one for years to come, but we'll only find out when we get to that part of our lives.

My two cents is that Satan has his own direct line to God; but he is so set in his ways that he doesn't want to be save.

heck no. Why would he do that when satan was perfect and ahead of the angels? If anyone blasphemes the holy spirit there is no redemption. And it sounds like you feel sorry for that bastard.
