If a church member won the lottery is it a sin?

If you were a dedicated tither would you give 10% of your lottery winnings to your church?
Even if your church believes lottery is a sin (many say gabling is a sin and that the lottery is a form of gambling)
If yes you would give it in cash or place it to the church under a certain category (missions or if the church had a building fund for repairs) or would you just give it to them for them to decide.

Do you think a church that calls it a sin and one of their own won? Do you think they would change their mind and expect and except the 10%

beyond that 10% would you do more for your church, what would you do?

How do I know what God's plan for me is when it comes to marriage. I really want to meet the man that God has chosen for me and settle down. I have had two long relationships, married once and I have two children. My first child from my ex-husband and second from my live in boyfriend of six years. I have only been a Christian for about three years now and have been just dating for about three years also. Everytime I try to get into a relationship with someone, the sex issue comes up and I cave in and have sex out of marriage. I have been praying for a husband but I really don't feel like God is giving me an answer. He just keeps telling me to seek him first and everything else will follow. I try to stay away from men because I don't want to lust or sin. I just feel so lonely. I miss having a man in my life. Any advice for me?

I read this argument that "God can fool us into believing the Earth is much, much younger than the estimated 4.55 billion years, like maybe only 6,000 years old. In light of the vast information gleaned from decades of serious scientific study, this argument is absurd and self-serving. Self-serving because I suppose an age of 6,000 years fits better with scripture. Absurd because it defies common sense and the fact that you can see the bones of a fully resconstructed dinosaur in any respectable museum. So, my question is, "Why would He want to fool us?" Is He hiding something?

I believe that I have found understanding and a relationship with the Creator. How does my desire to persuade you to the same line of reasoning, and resulting comfort, make me your opponent? I wish you no harm, in fact, just the opposite. In like manner, I don't dispel others' beliefs or understandings merely because they are different, but rather because intelligent investigation through their suppositions returns me to the same base which I have already claimed.

I do not believe that all faith is blind, but rather that intelligent belief opens the door of possibility IF blind faith is required. And most of the time, God doesn't require blind faith.

Faith technally is nothing but a guess. Yet you act like you are 100% and that you know something someone else doesn't. Or you believe you have a gift that no one else has. We are all freaking the same. Why can't you realize that!

Does hindu god creats another gods like him? to help him? and also ceated a woman god and later came a baby god...how do they make sex? and how did mother god gives birth to a baby god? Why some of hindu's god look like an elephant man? if elephant was a symbol of mighty gigantic animal? why not make it dinasour man and it would be mightiest!!. Some people think that we should not talk about hell. But what can lost people relate to more than hell. I mean, do lost people know what "saved" means or "born again"? From my experience, I have come to understand that hell and heaven are the cross-cultural topics that everyone can relate to.

T.B.N. showed a clip from this movie about a father who operated a draw bridge, and his son falls into the gears right when a train is comeing and the father has to lower the bridge to save the passengers and sacrifice his son, or sacrifice the train to save his son. If you know about this movie, please let me know. It will be a very good teaching tool for the sunday school children at my church.
