I am not stating this for accusations - I want real discussion - no antisemitism

In the Talmud there is discussion of Yeshu - "A story about a man named Yeshu can be found in the Talmud. There is debate whether this Yeshu in the Talmud is the same Jesus who later became a Christian divinity.

According to the Talmud, Yeshu was the son of a Jewish woman named Miriam who was betrothed to a carpenter. "Betrothed" means she was legally married to him, but she was not yet living with him or having sexual relations with him. The story says that Miriam was either raped by or voluntarily slept with Pandeira, a Greek or Roman soldier. Miriam than gave birth to Yeshu, who was considered a "mamzer" (bastard), a product of an adulterous relationship. The Talmud describes Yeshu as a heretic who dabbled in sorcery and lead the people astray. Later, the Sanhedrin (the Jewish "Supreme Court") ordered Yeshu stoned to death and his dead body was hung from a tree until nightfall"

I need to find who did a sermon i heard recently. One of the sermons main points was talking about pluralism, secularism and something else. He gave descriptions of all these and applied them. After this he gave a story about a husband and wife who went on vacation somewhere. They were in the plaza and the husband says I'm gonna go do this and I'll meet you back here "at this particular interesection at this time of the day." The wife then thinks to herself that all of the fantasies she's had she could actually do and nobody would know. In the end she decided not to act upon anything and both of them went back to the hotel and he fell asleep. The wife still laying there awake decides that "I will never have this opportunity again" and leaves without him knowing about it. She comes back later without him knowing and tears start streaming down her face. Thats' when I lost it. This preacher has a very heavy india accent and similar to Dr. Ravi Zacharias, but not him. Well known

New question
Who wants to add to this ??
The Corner stone of Jesus Christ holds one firm
on the foundation of ones Faith.
with which ones life is been built apon.
Built up and out from the corner stone
that is Christ Jesus.
Born in the likeness of God,
For He is The Son of God...
Mathew 3v17=
(And suddenly a voice came from Heaven saying
"This is my beloved Son, in whom l am well pleased.")
Even though I die to the flesh,
I live in the spirit of Jesus Christ,
That is my desire.
And my struggle,For we deal with, not flesh and blood, but principalities and powers
the rulers of this age that continualy effect the fluids in our vessel
to no good end....
Add some thing if you feel its worth it Folks

Why on earth do you feel the need to post on questions that involve a subject that you know nothing about? you dont pray, you dont go to church, you dont worship the Lord etc. So whats the deal? are you that insecure in your own beliefs that you need to verify them by posting silly comments like "christians = dumb" or "christians and brains dont go together" on questions that it is clear are about the Bible or Structued religion? I dont post answers on questions about what it means to be an atheist especially posts that are meant to belittle another. Ive said many times before that I dont call the plumber to fix my car so why do you think the question needed your input? i recently posted a question about Catholics vs protestants and the differences in their beliefs. you can view the questions and see the responses i got from a few atheists. A 4 year old can see that their answers are meaningless to the question asked.

why is it that many people do not think Catholics and Protestants are alike? ive even saw someone post that Catholics are not Christians ..lol. But seriously, there is a difference in the way we take communion and Catholics have a little more emphasis on Mary then protestants though Protestants honor Mary as well. Also the Catholic Church is a little more structured, but Many Protestants feel that some structure isnt a bad thing..

So why do people think that they are so different?

A week ago, I rededicated my life to the Lord after not going to church for 6 months and not having a relationship with God for a year. Now, I'm so excited to have a relationship with God again that I can think of little else. I literally want to jump up and down. I now love to go to church and to watch Christian TV. It's as Pastor John Hagee says, "there's no high like the Most High" My church has a Bible college that it's recruiting for, and I'd thought about going to it back when I was involved in church before, but now I have a burning desire to go there. I'm already enrolled in a Master's program in another field, and I still want to do that, but I now want to have a ministry in addition to working in my current field (which is politics so that can be a minsitry of it's own!) I'm 24 by the way. My mom's Christian too and I think she seems to think I'm a bit too excited about this. Am I or is this normal? It does feel really good.
