i try to be open minded but you people sure make it tough. you're just a total turn off and i don't exactly know why. i would rather sit and talk to a muslim about religion than you people.

Well to answer your question correctly we must approach it scientifically: There are two factors in your question: Bible thumpers and willies. What is a Bible Thumper? a) Person who has only one finger namely the thumb and using that to open the bible 2) A construction or road compacting tool invented by a Mr. Bible 3) A person who uses the Bible as Sex toy?
And who are those Willies? 1)Willy Nelson's Family 2) Off Road Vehicles 3) A herd of Whales from a Free Willie Disney Sequel?
Answer: If someone of Willie Nelsons Family gives you an Off road vehicle to go Whale watching go for it .., don't question it...It's a free car! But if a one fingered person invites you to have sex using a bible attached to a road compactor ....you might want to decline . Even small bibles can be a pain in the butt!

I am a Christian but I do not think I would be what you would call a bible thumper. I read mine daily and try to live right but I am human. What do these bible thumpers say that so seriously turns you off? I am open minded and love to discuss all religions although I do not know much about some of them. However, I do find them all interesting and I think everyone has a right to believe whatever they want without persecution.

Maybe you been talking to the wrong people. Remember that there are people who have got Christianity really screwed up. The Muslems did it too. They started their religion from the first half of the Bible. I dont like Bible thumpers, but i am a Christian. This is no Faity Tale. It's the truth!

You are close minded and I know without a doubt that you won't change therefore I don't care what you think but I know where you are going! If you thought that religion could be your "hard on" then you are sadly mistaken. Perhaps it's the devoted, blind faith that resists all logic and reason. The extreme positions, laughable even in the eyes of mainstream Christians. The jumping up and down and hysterical emotionalism that cuts past rational thought. The absolutely solid brick wall mindset that proclaims to the world that everyone else is wrong and they alone are right.
Or maybe it's their haircuts.

It's a spiritual thing, you wouldn't understand.
Also, being a "Bible thumper" doesn't make me a religious person. Talking to a Muslim person won't get you any closer to God. When calling direct is available, but I don't feel it's God your seeking.
If it was, His word would be of great value to you.

Just exercise patience. It is hard dealing with them.. i know. But if you go into it with the right mindset it can actually be very comical to talk to them. And who knows? You just might plant that seed of doubt to help them out of their delusion and keep our society from heading back to the dark ages and help stop this global clash of civilizations that seems inevitable.
