Islam may have its faults but it least its followers attend Mosque for worship throughout their adult lives. Why are Christian churches full of the elderly? Do you think they become more God-fearing as their demise approaches, and they feel they must convince God that they are really good people, even after a life of sin?

who was requesting the payment? if god requested the payment that he himself paid - then im sorry - but that is one crazy religion u have there.

it would be like if i had £100. would i be able to ask myself that i pay myself the £100? And if i did what purpose would it serve. I would have £100 - which is precisely what i had before i asked myself to pay myself £100.

Can u see why it is such a slly concept?

I mean as long as they aren't sinful, and don't become an idol? And how do you know when you're in idolatry, and not just enjoying your life, aside from having God flat-out tell you?

If this is true, then why do Muslims consider a Muslim that converts to Christianity as an infidel and are then obligated to kill them according to Islamic beliefs? Doesn't this prove the God of the Christians is not the God of the Muslims?

I am pro-life, but i have been wondering. Couldn't abortion be a part of God's plan? If the earth was getting over populated couldn't God allow abortion, or for that matter the Holocaust, to control the population boom. Would He allow the death of others to save the many? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

that a Catholic Priest might be defrocked for secretly getting married to a woman?

Yet raping young boys simply gets him moved to a new parish to start over?

What is the logic here?

Yes, I understand he took a vow of celibacy. But why doesn't that include molesting children?

I have read over and over on yahoo, non believers bashing Christians.
I am a Christian, and when answering a question I will give my opinion based on my knowlege and/or beliefs -Just as I assume everyone else does. Isn't that how we arrive at our answers?

I've read that Christains are hypocrites. I gather people arrive at this because we are not perfect. I think that is where the problem lies. We as Christians, DO NOT say that we are perfect, in fact we confess the complete opposite, so I don't quite understand the meaning behind the Holyer then thou statements. If an Alcohiloc doesn't admit he's an alcoholic does this mean he's not? No, but if he admits it then he will be more apt to get help.
Sin is sin regardless to who admits to it - As a Christian I know that I am a sinner
So even though being a Christian doesn't mean we do not sin, it does however mean that we are more apt to deal with those sins and work on cleansing them from our lives.

I used to be a Baptist until someone actually told me the real truth about the church, since Catholics were the first true church and all. I'm just not sure if other religions that BROKE off of the catholic church and decided to do their own damn thing are taught to disrespect Catholics? Just throwing that out there, I never see a Catholics disrespect other church's...

I think it's unfair to take kids to church/synagogue/mosque and bring them up with the parents' religious views, as they subconciously accept the religion without question. Why not allow them exposure to many faiths and let them decide when they are ready?
