that's not true, if they were truly christian, than they wouldn't say those things to you. They are probably just people with christian backrounds but don't completly belive in christ because if they were, that would know that they have to respect everyone. I run into people like that all the time and they say that their christian but I'll hear them cussing in the hallways and stuff. So just ignore them.
I'm a christian so it gets me really mad when people say hipocritial stuff like that so I know where your coming from girl. But I wont insult you. People just get mad because everyone wants everyone else to believe them. Just forget about all the haters and negetive people and just ask God to guide your way every day and trust him so that everything will be O.K. some day.

Truly Christian people do not do that. Take a look at any of my responses. Those are hypocrites. According to the Bible, we are not to judge others. Stupid questions sometimes are a little irritating or funny but not enough to insult people. I have noticed myself a lot of questions aimed at a particular political party and several religious groups. We have the right to free speech but we also have a place to keep the tongue from talking.

I am sure that not all Christians are like that but I have to agree with you a lot are....I was going to a Baptist church for a long time and then I started dating a non-Christian who used to stay over night with me a few times a week....I was called into the Pastors office surrounded by other "appointed staff" and reprimanded! Later that night the choir director called me at home and told me that Jesus would not answer my prayers for my children because of my behavior...I stood up and told them this meeting is over and walked out and never went back....

Some People insult others to make themselves feel better about themselves. I am a Christian and I would be the first to admit that I don't know it all but I do believe what the bible says and they way that you have been treated is not Christ-like at all which is where the word Christian comes from.

Because in their minds, they are right and you are wrong. The concept of choosing to believe one thing or another is alien to them. To many people of many religions, questioning religion is like questioning whether the sky is blue. No reasonably intelligent person would question such an "obvious" fact. If you do, you are either stupid or trying to be inflammatory, or maybe you are deluding yourself. In any case, you have to realize that to the intolerant and rude ones, this is the Truth, and it cannot be questioned. You are questioning it. It's as simple as that.

Hmmm. Every single one? I think you have a poor exposure to Christians... that and the fact that so many of us strive only to justify ourselves and judge all the rest of humanity.
Which is sad because God said for us to judge no one but ourselves, lest we be judged later. Religion will do that to a person, it makes them feel righteous, when really theyre no different than the people they look down on.
Theres not a lot you can do, except try not to find answers or justification in people, but search out God for yourself, first hand, and not from leaders of men. Which is how traditions and religious law take hold in the first place, and you've already seen the outcome of that first hand. No one wants to become that sort of person. God doesnt want it either.
Its a real shame you've been burnt by so many poor representations of Christ, but being human is part of the equation, and theres nothing you can do except seek truth from God and not people who can be corrupted. Its hard to find words you can trust from people claiming to be of God when you dont have any way to discern truth from lies.
Read your bible and ask Him to show you what you need to know.

THere's no such thing as Christian, it's all lip service.
The church has judged the so called Heathen from the start.
Therefore, the heathen have the right to fire back. Yet, Jesus says not to judge. So, the heathen have the moral authority. Since heathens don't believe in Jesus, and Christians do.
