if they had not conceived me - i would not have existed. If i had not existed i would not have been able to reject jesus. I am not responsible for the fact i exist - they are.

it could not have been gods intention that i would exist - since that would remove the freewill my parents had in procreation.

if you believe hell exists - why take the risk of having children? Why bring an entity into existance that may spend eternity in hell?

The theory of evolution has a lot of logical errors in it, and is accepted on faith by many well-meaning mini-intellectuals. God inspires so many people purely because they don't want to take the chance that Hell exists. Do I have any friends here or am I "the island" that Jon Donne said did not exist among men?

Wouldn't we miss the people we love still on earth? And if we're not sad, or for that matter, if we can't feel any of the better human emotions that would be "outlawed" in heaven, then we must no longer be human. And who wants to live forever--human or not?

There seems to be (surprise, surprise) a lot of disagreement among Christians about this. Please justify your beliefs from the bible, not your bible studies 101 notes.

I have a cat and a dog. I adore them both immensely. When me and my dog are curled up together, (usually me behind him snuggling into him sleeping ) , he just sighs and snuggles in closer and I feel so calm and loved and all is right in my world. My cat is teeny tiny and my nicknames for her apart from her actual name are Tinkerbell ( little fairy) and Thumbelina ( tiny little thing). She curls up on one of my knees and goes right to sleep purring. When she sleeps on my pillow I feel her purrs on my face and I breathe in time with her and I really feel connected to her. It is all pure love, love in a way that I have never felt for another person. Total acceptance of me, unconditional. Do you get this with your pets too ?

There are 12 major religions in the world, representing millions and millions of people, all of whom believe in some sort of creator, but typically they believe in God. All of these religions have their own unique supporting evidence, for example the Bible, to backup and prove their belief that God exists.

On the other side of the fence, there is 1 group called Atheists who do not believe in God, and do not accept that the religious evidence is factual or truthful. Atheists use intelligence, commonsense and logic to prove that the religious evidence is nothing more than fantasy.

Frequently we hear religious people saying that there must be a creator, how could so many people be wrong? Remember the movie 12 Angry Men, where 12 jurors were all so quick to condemn, but only 1 juror knew the real truth?

Today we have 12 Angry Religions all quick to condemn, and only 1 group (Atheists) that knows the truth. What do you think the verdict will be?

That wouldn't seem fair. At that point I would very gladly prove my love and devotion to the Holy Trinity.

Because my brain is hardwired to accept empirical proof only, I feel that being in Hell would give me the evidence I need to accept Jesus. Being a lover of light and therefore liking the idead of Heaven, I wonder if could just wait till after death, rather than jumping to conclusions (that my cerebral soul rejects out of hand).

Surveys indicate that many people would rather believe a comforting lie, then face an uncomfortable truth.

I just wanted to make a statement. I seen in another post that someone told someelse that they feared God to much and needed to lighten up. I just disaggree with that statement so much. Maybe I just read it the wrong way. But the fear of God is the beginning of all knowlege. Its when we dont fear God that we get to relaxed and not respectful towards Him. I dont love God out of fear, but yet I have enough reverance for Him that I do fear Him. He is the Alfa and Omega. The beginning and the End. He spoke us into existence yet His love for us is so kind and gentle. He turned lot's wife into a piller of salt, Killed Pharohs army, killed the rich man that lied to the apostels, yet loves me and takes care of my needs. He chastisthes (mispell) me. He lets me know when I'm wrong, Yet He always forgives me. He is so good. And should be feared for He is God.

2 Corinthians 12:2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago---whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows---such a man was caught up to the third heaven.

If you've never experienced this, you are missing out on God's blessing. Have you at least made to the 1st or 2nd heaven? Does your prayer life seem real at all? Does it ever feel like this example of bible sanctioned astral projection?
