I heard it was the 7th July 2007. Or at least thats when Jesus is coming back then we will have a world war which will end in 2012 and life will never be the same again.

The Mayans Had a calendar that was written some 12,000 years before ours. It had a cycle that matches our modern one and predates many disasters. The main prediction is that the poles will reverse. This is suppose to happen once every 200,000 years or so. How they knew that we had poles that long ago is a mystery. Europeans thought the world was flat only 300 years back! They also claim that the world as we know it will end in 2012!.
Many doom mongers have tried to stretch our spirit to the limits but none of them have been close. Lets hope that this continues for our foreseeable future.

While we may be living in the end of days, no-one knows when the end will come, and anyone who says they do are just telling lies, scare-mongering. Do not take any notice of such a lie. Or perhaps they are just dilluded themselves. We humans may think we are clever and intelligent, but we are only supposed to know so much.
There have been so many so called 'prophecies' of the end of the world, obviously each one has been proven completely unfounded.

Hope not I booked my holiday for next year. And besides no one knows not even those predicting the end.
Not even Jesus, only God, and he says in the Bible, the sun will turn black and the moon blood red before the end begins to come. So no Black sun and no blood red moon yet, so off to Turkey next year.
Just an after thought; For some their world will end right now, for others tomorrow and for others next week. Are you prepared for that eventuality? Where are you going if it ends in 2006?

However there are ancient Mayan, Egyptian and Aztec calenders that don't go beyond the year 2012.

Its not up to us to know when the world is going to end, but up to God, and he has made it pretty clear in Revelations what things must happen before the end of the world. Some of it has already come to pass, but there just isn't time for the rest to happen in the next four months.
