Moses said thus saith the Lord "Without the shedding of blood there is no atonement for sins." Leviticus 17 vs 11

Isaiah showed how Jesus would fulfill the first part of the 2 commings of Messiah-"He will be exaulted, but first marred more than any man, and lay down his life to make an atonement for sins." "He will be despised and rejected" Isaiah 52vs 13-53 vs 12

At the church I used to go to, most of the people believed that people were doing what they were doing because of God's call. This was particularly how they felt about people in the ministry--they were there because God called them to be ministers. Does anyone here believe this?

OK here's the scenario-and I want you to give this considerable consideration-I have found that Christians are biased bigoted thick headed ignor-anuses, they have a premis for all they do based on a CHARACTER Flaw called "I AM SAVED", and in general believe that they are going to heaven because they accepted Christ-however-everyone of every religion believes this hypothetical premiss-and what excuse are you going to have when you stand before another entity that says-YOU HAD ALL YOUR LIFE TO REALLY STUDY THE LAWS OF RELIGION-but you chose to stick by the one that gave you your immediate benefit in life on Earth and failed to use Life as an opportunity to educate yourself in any other area of belief-SO YOU ARE CAST OUT-SINNER! and u reply-But OH Dear God-I woulda thought you woulda shown me the way and you can see by my accomplishments in life had I known that I woulda done them ALL 4 U! and as a horney monster comes to take you you yell "But Father 4-Give me 4 I Knew not what I did!"

My elder sister used to spread Tarot cards for herself at times. She never believed in going to gypsies and all, preferring to believe that the spread of cards showed her her own innermost thoughts - and that she could learn from that. So I am not asking about cyrstal balls and all that shite.

Do you think, when you spread the cards yourself, it could have any meaning? Does it clarify, does it foretell things, does it make you think deeper? I am interested in any view on this matter.

My first question is how do you become saved? Do you have to be baptised to be saved or go to heaven? Can you lose your salvation and if you believe you lose it can you gain it back? why or why not? I'm a Christian by the way

In July of last year the fire alarm in our education center (our old church) went off at 3:00a.m. - false alarm. One week later the burglar alarm went off at the same time - footprints were found in the building but no indication of a breakin. A call was made from the office at 3:00a.m. to an unknown person who had caller ID and called to find out why we were calling at 3:00a.m. - no one was in the building at that time. Last night the fire alarm went off at 3:00a.m. - false alarm.

just wondering, because it seems like athiesm is on the INCREASE here in America and it is also on the increase in Austria *i live in america in the summer, austria winter/fall and part spring.*

So the question is why do people constantly say that athiesm is on the DECREASE when the nonspiritual/agnostic/athiest population has been on the increase.

After being handed a copy of the Koran by a friend, I have recently decided to become a muslim, name change and all. I find the teachings of Mohammed the Prophet to be superior to those of Jesus Christ and his Apostles. I've even sent out for a berkha that should be here shortly. It's gorgeous!

Anyway, I was having issues with the fact that three of my good friends are hardcore Christians. I've been looking to teach them more about Islam, for the sake of education, but they just won't hear me out. I don't want to stoop to their level and force my religion upon others, but I'm worried that if I can't convince them that Allah is our one, true god, then they will be lost in the afterlife.

What should I do?

I was talking to these people and this guy was like our god sucks...allah is cool though....i laughed and explained to him.

Everyone thinks we have a different god or Allah is our prophet...allah when translated means GOD...our prophet is Mohammad.

And we have the same god, the jews, christians and muslims have the same god our profits were sent from the same god.

Thats all i have to say...its just makes me laugh when i watch people say "those crazy muslims and their crazy god Allah"...its the same god peoples...thanks
