Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. You are saved by believing in Christ!!! Salvation is not based on anything that you do. Therefore, baptism (water baptism) is not a salvation issue. When you believed in Christ you were immediately baptized by the Holy Spirit.
I don't believe anyone can lose their salvation. Are you thinking there is some sin too big for God to forgive??? Are that there is a sin that Christ did not die for on the cross???
Some people believe in Christ and then are deceived by themselves or someone else and they abandon the faith they first accepted. Does this mean they are lost because they got confused?? I don't think so.
You know the story of the Prodigal Son??? Let me ask you.....at what point in the story did the prodigal son lose his sonship??? The answer is he never lost his sonship.....Once a son, always a son. He wasn't acting like a son but he was still his Fathers' son.
So it is with God, our Father. We may not always act like his child but we are. We are saved not on the basis of what we do but on the basis of who and what God is.
You can't lose your salvation...so there's no need to worry about how to get it back.
What do you need to get back?? You need to get back in fellowship with God after you have gone your own way. The prodigal son went his own way and he had to admit his error and go back to his Father.
It's very simple to get back in fellowship with our Father. Simply name your sins and move on. If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness!!!

Believe upon the Lord and you shall be saved. Salvation is a free gift by the grace of God for whosoever believes. Notice that none of those things have to do with us, it has everything to do with what Christ had already accomplished upon the cross. He said it is finished, that means a done deal. A gift that could be lost was not a gift in the first place. Many mock the once saved always saved doctrine but the truth of the matter that the only other doctrine would be once lost always lost and there is no hope.

All that is required of you to be born again(saved) is to kneel down and ask The Lord to come into your heart and to forgive you of your sins. You do not ever loose your salvation but however you can back slide which God will forgive if you only ask, and then try not to repeat the same sin knowingly. I have been baptized because it is like him washing our sins away and just plain makes you feel good when you are truly a born again christain.
John 3:16--For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not parish but have everlasting life.
For those who say there is no God I feel really sorry for them when judgment day comes. Love in our Lord Jesus Christ.

If you believe that Jesus died on the cross for you so you can be forgiven, and if you believe He rose again from the dead, just tell Him you believe and ask Him to forgive you of all your sins and ask Him to come into your heart and be Lord of your life. No you do not have to be baptized to be saved or go to heaven. That is just to show everyone that you are saved and have accepted Jesus into your life. You can't lose your salvation unless you tell Jesus to get out of your life and heart. Yes, you may still sin unintentionally, but just ask Jesus to forgive you if you are genuinely sorry. You can't purposely sin everyday and just keep asking forgiveness for the same sins everyday. You have to purposely stop sinning, find a good bible teaching church and tell your friends you are saved, make Jesus Lord of your life, read your bible and try your best. Good thing is, you don't have to be perfect. Jesus knows your heart and that you're trying. God Bless you. Don't give up! Keep doing your best. It will be worth it all one day when Jesus comes back to receive us into heaven!

You are saved when God pardons you for all your sins. God understand that we are human beings with our own free will and will make mistakes (have sins) now and then. He forgives us for that also. It is good to be baptized because it shows God that you truly live for him. But in my own opinion you don't have, because God recognizes what is in your heart( I am baptized...FYI). You don't loose your salvation and get it back again, you can have salvation until the last breath you take if you really ask for God forgiveness before death. There are times that God gives you many, many opportunities to be saved, but I and I said I believe that he gets tired of you not obeying him that at he end, He allows Satan to take you. But remember it is not for lack of trying that he does this. Some people have pure evil in their hearts and God cannot forgive that. If you are truly a Christian God loves you, but remember also God loves everyone. Christian or not.

If you are a Christian, you should know how to be saved. If not, go to a good Born Again, Holy Spirit filled Christian church. You don't have to be baptized. Some say you can loose you salvation if you totally turn your back on God. Don't know about getting it back.

First recognize your condition. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23...
Then realize the penalty for sin. "For the wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23 Just as there are wages for good, there is punishment for wrong. The penalty for our sin is in eternal death in a place called Hell.
Then believe that Christ died for you.. "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinner, Christ died for us." Romans 3:8
Trust Christ ALONE as your Saviour. "But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" Romans 8:23 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13.
No you can never lose your salvation. NEVER EVER. John 10:29 says "My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand." Also, notice in the verses I showed above. They do not say whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord and goes to church, gets baptized, keeps my commandments, and is good will be saved. It just says whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.
You do not have to be baptized to be saved. You have to be saved to go to heaven. We should want to be baptized after we are saved, to show God that we are taking our first step of obedience to Him. If we had to be baptized to be saved, then that would have made Jesus a liar when he told the thief next to Him on the cross that he would be with Jesus that day in Paradise (heaven).

You become saved by first accepting Jesus as your personal savior. You repent of all your sins and ask God for forgiveness. You then start going to church and being involve with Christian functions. You also need to read your bible. Sometimes you may slip away and do something that you shouldn't , you would then need to ask for forgiveness and try not to do that again. Eventually, you will need to be baptist. Anything the Bible says to do, you need to follow. It is your book of instructions.

Be real.
Saved from what? Live a good life. Treat people as you would want to be treated and you don't need to do more. No salvation no heaven. Just a good wholesome life where you can make a difference.

This how you're saved and you keep it, that's it:
Romans 10:9-13 (King James Version)
9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
