Well, personally I'm somewhat interested in philosophy, so I want to learn more about the way different people see it. Also, I like the chance to educate religious people.

Pray to who ever yet, keep in my it is your united states too. Atheist or not.

For some reason you seem to be under the impression that being an atheist means you have no interest in religion. This is a false assumption. An atheist may be very interested in religion. They may feel very strongly that the evidence for the existence of a god or gods is unfounded, and may want to share their opinions with others who may or may not agree.
Healthy discussion with those who think differently can only make us wiser.

They came to a "place where [people] discuss religious [matters]" because they enjoy discussing religious matters. Spirituality does not always come in the form of a specific god or way of worship.

Many Atheists are much more spiritually balanced than alot of these religious freaks.
I am not Atheist, but I tend to agree with many of their points of view!

Probably for the same reason that Christians and others feel the need to pop in and push their commentary in the LBGT, Mythology and folklore and other sections.

An innocent but ignorant question. Athiesm is a spiritual belief also. Think about it before you go asking questions like this.
