True, some would rather believe a comforting lie, than face an uncomfortable truth. But God is not a lie. He's as TRUE as TRUTH, and all that denies Him is the lie.

I believe right now in the scientific truth and most of the times these one is considered as the uncommfortable truth.

God is the the Absolute Truth. Some people think that because they have not seen God, then God does not exist. We can't demand to see God, we must act in a way that God sees us.

You atheists love to mention "surveys," but you're remarkably reluctant to cite your sources. You're also quite monotonous with these constant non-questions that start off, "Christians, what if..." or "Christians, just suppose..." Christians deal in truth; we have no use for your moot hypotheses.
