What I think is that love conquers all, if one doesn't stand obstinate and insist the other convert, there is always hope there.

Stay open minded to the other and you may even find that the challenges by discussing each other's beliefs might make your relationship stronger. At least you both believe in God right? and God is pure unconditonal love.

I seriously doubt it. Catholics are Christians believing the true divinity of Christ. A Jehovah Witness thinks Jesus was a created being originally named Michael the Archangel.

Just using common sense it would seem impossible for two people to live together when one recognizes Jesus as God to be worshipped and the other only acknowledges that same Jesus as only a messenger.

Not together, because their beliefs would not agree and a relationship works best if based on mutual goals and working together in cooperation. Would their children be allowed to celebrate holidays or visit relatives and celebrate holidays? Would the Catholic go door to door with the Jehovah's Witness? I think not.

I kind of have personal experience with this one. Jehovah's Witness are extremely brainwashed individuals. If they've grown up in a JW home, it is hard for them to really convert even if they seem like they want to.

My daughter several years ago met and fell in love with a JW who insisted when they first started dating that he didn't want to be a JW anymore and admitted they were a brainwashing cult. BUT, his family were totally JW all the way. A year later him and my daughter were married. The JW discommunicated him in a public way and his family disowned him. He refused to go to church with her (We're Lutheran) and seemed frightened the whole time. After 2 years he finally admitted he couldn't be happy or comfortable not being a JW. He left her and went back to being a JW.

Not as a married couple. As next-door neighbors only, perhaps. If you mean in a married sense, then the person claiming to be a Jehovah's Witness who goes and marries someone outside of the faith or (not "in the Lord" as the Bible puts it) can't rightfully claim to be a Witness.

I'm Catholic and I find Jehovah Witness quite interesting. Their religion is very organized. They have back up for most of the things they believe in. The are determined to get up every morning and tell everyone about their beliefs. It really doesn't matter whom they are worshiping...All that matters is that they believe in a higher power and that's what counts. The one thing that all religions have in common is that we all have FAITH.

Jehovah's Witnesses aren't allowed to befriend anyone who isn't a Jehovah's Witness so I would say that would be impossible.
