If I were an atheist, an intellectually honest one.........the sophomoric name calling and hate mongering of some of your fellow non-believers would really embarass me . Is your value system so distorted that attacks of any kind no matter how vulgar or unfair are condoned....I am on the kinder side of the fence, at least by my observance of these hate filled posts

Shouldn't be too hard to answer this one. Who do you think He is?

YOU SHOULD!

Listen to this: In case you didn't know the number of pirates in world is tied directly to the increasing problem of global warming, obviously the FSM's punishment on us...Coincidence? I think not.

and this: Any flaw you find in the gospel of the FSM is only put in place by he, the flying Spaghetti Monster to throw off the weak-minded non-believers...How's that for a slap into reality Mr. Carbon-14?

So, what say you now? You wanted proof and there it is you ignorant Atheists. Repent and become a pastafarian and you shall be saved...otherwise..Let's just say, do u like ur meatballs fried or baked? May the FSM slap you with his noodly appendage into enlightenment.

Exodus 21:22 clearly makes an unborn child the property of its father and not a person. Killing an unborn child is a crime only against the parents, and is not as just hitting and not seriously injuring your parents. It clearly says that a fetus does NOT count as a person, so why to people hold up the bible as evidence that abortion is murder?

I only call on the Lord when I need help. The only times I pray to God is when I want to win a competition, do good on a test, etc. And then I feel bad because I feel like I'm using Him. I always tell myself, I'm going to start praying to Him daily and do everything in His name, but sooner or later, I completely forget my promise. Does God get angry when we just pray to Him randomly just because we want something? How can I stop it and learn to accept Him as my personal Savior?

what has religion or beliefs truly achieved?
they cause hatred, wars and distrust amongst fellow humans throughout history.
the majority maybe are peace loving but why do they tolerate their goverments that go to war, terrorists that kill, even football matches are a place of religious bigotry and sectarianism.
why dont the peace loving followers of these religions stand up against the more blood thirsty; yes that includes goverments in the west as well as in the east being stood up against, the goverments are the worst claiming to be 'at war' Bush uses statements about gods will etc, is this man a coward and has to hide behind a 'diety'
if i do something its because of ME nothing else, i do not hide behind my religion/belief,
my little rant is now over!
please debate!!!

Being a christian as a youth is different from being a christian now that I am older.
There are times when we go away that we miss church and I love those times Just to "get a break" from the church I go to. where we go away to do not have christain churches so we just have devotions and pray.

It is so nice not to always be so obligated because at times for me going to church is a chore because when I was young I did not have the responsbilities that I have now.

I love the Lord I just don't like at times what being a christian entials.

New identity? Human or not? Same gender or not? On Earth or not?

In my "next life", I imagine I would be a non-earthian male human being, who belongs to a scientific team that studies thousands of civilisations throughout the Universe.

I may sound a bit sci-fi - lol - but well... I am free to imagine whatever I wish. And you?

Matthew 27:3-10 (KJV): Judas throws down his 30 pieces of silver to the priests in the temple and goes out and hangs himself. After the priests buy a potter's field for burial purposes.

Acts 1:16-19 (KJV): Judas purchases a field with his silver for himself and then dies as a result of a fall that causes his bowels to fall out.

I had to do summaries as complete text goes over character limit but you can check it out in the Bible.

Did god program your minds to identify a joke?

What did Christ ever do to you? If God became a man then we would expect him to speak the greatest words ever spoken. Jesus said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away" (Luke 21:33). A Roman official who was sent to capture Christ came back and reported, "Never did a man speak the way this man speaks" (John 7:46). He spoke words of love and hope to the people of His day. What is wrong with that? If Christ being God decided to die for my sin and yours' where is the crime? Don't blame Christ for what Christians do. I think God choose the perfect time in history to reveal Himself to mankind. Four major empires had risen to power. Rome's influence along with the Greeks had covered the majority of the world. 400 years had passed without a word from God. Nazareth was a small insignificant village next to a main Roman road. Christ came in humbleness and died in humility becoming obedient to mankind. Why did he do this? LOVE

He loves you He lives

It happened young for me. I was sitting on the beach in San Clemente looking at the waves roll in and realized that what I was seeing was much bigger than Sunday school.

I was 10 years old. Initially, I had faith that there was no god, and then as the years passed, reason helped me understand that that was true.

Why should I follow God? I feel that he forced me into existance and I shouldn't not be accountable. Its like a judge enforcing a contract that you never signed. I wasn't asked before birth if I wanted to be born or not. I was thrown into this world. It's wrong that God makes you play this stupid game called life when you didn't agree to it. And if you say it was my parents that created me, thats true. But if God had not created anything, then my parents would not have existed to create me. And also why should others suffer from sin when it was the fault of Adam and Eve. I think it's unfair that the whole world has to suffer because of them. What an unfair God.
