Why should I follow God? I feel that he forced me into existance and I shouldn't not be accountable. Its like a judge enforcing a contract that you never signed. I wasn't asked before birth if I wanted to be born or not. I was thrown into this world. It's wrong that God makes you play this stupid game called life when you didn't agree to it. And if you say it was my parents that created me, thats true. But if God had not created anything, then my parents would not have existed to create me. And also why should others suffer from sin when it was the fault of Adam and Eve. I think it's unfair that the whole world has to suffer because of them. What an unfair God.

Think about it a different way. What if you agreed to life this way, but just don't remember? Suppose your are accountable for your actions and not Adam's. Then you would only have to worry about doing the best you could. Since no one can be perfect, God had a means for us to make up for our mistakes. It was a perfect sacrifice, His son. This is the answer to Justice and Mercy.

To be born it is a wonderful gift from God. Two parents wanting to have you and you were born. SO why do you feel you didn't ask to be born ? It was not your decision, but your parents. This game of life was played by your parents. We are not suppose to question miracles. Be Grateful that you were given life. Your Mother could have chose to abort you. Then your chances of gratitude would be less. And so it goes back to all the generations to Adam and Eve. I feel we are put on the Earth for a reason. There is a reason you are here. So do the best you can, be Gratefull and Give Thanks Unto the Lord and your parents. Why do you always downgrade and feel that everything is Gods fault. God Loves you. He wants for you to be happy. We get out of life , exactly what we deserve. It is all up to you on how you play the cards. Why should we all suffer for sin ? Well we are born into sin. God wants for us to avoid sin. So it all falls back on how we live our lives. When we fail, it is our fault. Not Adam , Eve's or Gods. It isn't even your parents fault , once you become older. Please go to the Holy Bible and read. In there it will give you all the wonderful answers that your beloved Heart yearns to know. You are Loved and your life will become happy and better , once you read and pray for help. Take care and may God bless you and yours, Always !!!

My dear Asker, kindly have patience with an answer from a nonChristian sacred text, in order to get the solace you need. Our Souls were created before Adam was. And a pledge was taken by the Q."Who created you?" "You, The Lord". "You shall be sent to a place called Earth, and when you return to Me, you shall be tested whether you had remembered the pledge taken while you wer a Soul without a body...". Adam and Eve did NOT commit a 'sin'. They were highly exalted noble ones. The Satan tempts every one, mylord Jesus included. Adam and Eve were tempted, too. They committed a 'lapse'. (note the word'they'), not a 'sin'. Soon thereafter, they repented. They were promptly forgiven, but asked to dwell thereafter on Earth.. (again note the word 'they'). The humans born later, in their turn, do not carry any 'original sin'. Every baby is born innocent. When the baby attains adulthood, sins and virtues accumulate. If the virtues outweigh the sins, the adult, on death, is blessed and is destined to eternal Heavenly Bliss. Thanks for the patience to read to the end of the answer. May God Bless you and grant you solace.

Good question and you have raised some very valid points. The person who first replied (Woody) made an interesting point “Think about it a different way. What if you agreed to life this way, but just don't remember?”

I am not religious at all, and certainly cannot accept any of today’s man-made religions. Apart from obviously being wishful thinking fantasy conjecture most of the time, they all defy commonsense and logic. However, there is logical merit in Woody’s comment above, as follows.

The following reference material (from Google) requires a very intellectual and philosophical mind to digest and understand, but by all means read and ponder.

Google “Brains in a vat” for the latest reference material.

It basically suggests and refutes that we (you or anyone) are just brains in a vat connected to a super-computer because we are able to ask the question “are we just brains in a vat” or “I think, therefore I am”. Unfortunately the theory is flawed because it assumes we are dealing with human terms, human logic and human brains in a vat, but that may not be the case.

It is possible that everything we think, feel, touch, hear, believe, sense, taste, smell, you name it is in fact virtual, and everything science or religion puts forward is virtual. It is possible that all the troubles in the world are virtual. It is possible that the universe is virtual, and therefore the intelligence (you) in a vat will never know the answers to anything in our world or universe.

It’s possible that we (you, me, everyone) are some form of intelligence in a vat, and therefore we are virtual and don't exist in the form or manner that we believe we do. It is possible that we may not even be human. Should this state (brains in a vat) truly exist then you would be unable to prove to anyone through any medium that you exist in the first place. It also follows that it is theoretically possible under such circumstances that we all requested the worldly state we live in, and see others living in, for some unknown purpose. Perhaps to learn or experience something.. Time will tell, if time exists.

What I like about the above theory, is that is that it offers a possible way for everyone to be correct. For believers and non-believers to be correct, for science and religion to be correct, for hurt and happiness to make sense. Namely, none of these situations really exist in the first place. Everything is virtual for an unknown reason.

Human intelligence as we understand it, could be intelligence controlled by a higher intelligence in another dimension, and everything we think and believe to be true is virtual. Such a possibility would account for all the madness that seems so prolific in humanity, but leave open an obvious curious question – “Why would we request such a state or be put into such a state”.

Look at it like this: God put you here whether you like it or not. You can either accept that fact or live a miserable life. After accepting it, think about why he put you here. What is your purpose. He didn't want you on this earth for no reason. It may seem unfair that we have to live in a world full of sin, but remember God is not human and does not live like one. Maybe he put us here to learn and to grow through our experiences. So, just think of it as you being here for a reason, and continue your days through that point of view. I hope I was a help to you!!!

How can you be sure that you didn't agree to this? If we are "human" from the moment of conception that implies that there is a spirit present. That spirit must have come from somewhere. When you deal with new born babies you realize that they each have their own unique personality and disposition at birth. Wonder where that came from?

We start somewhere, we experience life and hope we pass the test, and we go somewhere. People try to explain the details by creating different religions.

Sounds like an Aristotelian view of the Unmoved Mover God - you read new book about Adam and Eve by Laura Lipari? Lucifer was beautiful before becoming Satan.

You're digging way too deep here...
God doesn't need your worship. And how can you follow someone who can pretty much lead you anywhere without you knowing it? The only thing you should be worried about is living a good life. If there is a God, you'll be rewarded. If there is no God...well...you've still lived a good life and people will remember you for it.

Yep, that is exactly what Satan wants you to think and you are playing right into his hands. God created perfect beings that then chose to sin rather than to follow His counsel. So what is YOUR excuse for your sin? You had the whole story laid out for you and were told what it was and how it came about so why did you choose to sin instead of choosing to follow God's counsel? Is it God that made you do it? He gave you an out if you wanted to take it but you chose to follow Satan so how can you blame God for something YOU chose to do? How can you blame God for making Adam and Eve when it was not Him that made them sin but they chose to just like you but they did not have the evidence of what it would do like you did. Yeah, go ahead and blame God for your choices and play that fiddle of your father Satan telling the lies that he tells so as to blame God for all the bad when it is him that is the one that causes people to choose sin.
