If 'Satan' is the root of all evil/sin and 'God' is omnipotent (all powerful), then why doesn't 'God' defeat 'Satan' and/or rid the universe of 'Satan'.

i am unhappy right now, i could do what i want without Him. i wish He let me go & do what i want sometime. However i am not sad or hopeless, i am just not willing to give up something He pointing the finger on me. i happy & hopeful coz 1 day i go home & be with Him. J.C is a good friend/loving parent, sometime telling us things we don't want to hear, but it do us good eventually. Now do you want a friend & God like that?

i believe in His presence coz he is real, but He also personal that you, having feeling. If you mock & say bad things about me, do i want to approach you & say hi. But if you call out in desperation for help, honestly & sincerely, JC & i likewise will come to your aid.

I fear the number 13 and really do not want to stay in the room!
I called the university but they were unhelpful, saying that all rooms have now been allocated so i cant swap. However, i know that not all rooms have been given (they told me this but said that it is too late for me to change).
What should I do???
Email them again askin to change rooms? Wait til a certain date when ppl can switch rooms (which is after i will hv settled in and met new friends in my flat)? Put up with it?

Extra info: I used to suffer from Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and had some compulsions with numbers. Should I contact my doctor and ask her to tell the uni this and how placing me in a room '13' may trigger a return of the disorder (quite likely)?

It was a gift and I was wearing it to show that I was a Christian.
but it was a pagan symbol according to google. It was worshipped a long time before Christ and he was hung on a stake Roman's never hung anyone on a cross.
Why would you worship something used to kill someone you love?
Why do the Churches do it since that isn't true?

The Clark County, Nevada school system accepted a donation from a Strip Club that decided to raise money for them. A number of people are fine with this and a number are outraged. The Clark County Dept of Education says it will accept donations from any legitimate business, and that the business was legitimate.

Given your own belief systems, own morals and ethics, do feel it is ok for a public school system to receive a donation from a strip club?

ALL of these (except the Anthem) mention God, and are ACTUALLY part of our nation's history?

Since there are many translations of the Bible out there, do you think it makes a difference which one you read? Does that define which form of Christianity you choose? Are they really that different? I have several Bibles in my library and use them all. I like to study and I consider myself Christian. But I saw a comment earlier that certain religions "have their own Bible". Does it really translate that different? What do you think?

What is it that makes something alive?
I don't believe in a god with human emotions like anger, sorrow and pride, but I do have some personal beliefs on the subject. Can anyone really speak for "god" (if I can use that word) I mean the biggest debate on this site is if there even is such a thing. If there is a god, would anyone honestly know who or what it is without using their imagination (or just copying someone else’s from a book)?

God's punishment is death. There is not a single line in OT saying about eternal hell. Word Heol was conviniently translated by KJV to hell but has nothing to do with eternal hell.
Even god's commandments are saying death as punishment. WHere the hell christians comming out of an idea of eternal hell?
I know many bibles removed word hell and there are bibles that have coimplitely removed word Hell.
So much for loving God....
