Speaking for myself I'm not trying to convert anyone but being a Christian is gratifying and I think most of us want to share the joy we feel and overcome in our times of trials. You can certainly believe anything you want. What works for some of us doesn't work for everyone. God calls us to reach out to others and that's all we try to do - some of us a little more zealously than others. Perhaps part of it is we don't know what others believe and we are trying to learn.

I am a christian and i don't think that we are trying to convert anyone to Christianity its that we are trying to get you to know who not only our god but who your god is and that he died on the cross so that we may be free from sin and sickness. just like you have all the other religion trying to let you know about their god we are trying to let you know about our God who name is Jesus so that may have life and have it more abundantly. Gods gives us the right to choose what we want to believe but he also said if i were you i would choose life with me. so we as Christians are just trying to let you know that a relationship with Christ is the best thing you can ever have which will give you joy and peace and love you have been looking for.

Read the heading on the category. And I personally will try to convert anyone in anyway that I can. What kind of "religion" are you pushing?

It makes them uncomfortable that someone could examine the same evidence, and come to the conclusion that god is not the way they imagined it; or worse, that there's no god at all!
After all, they've chosen to align themselves with a (supposedly) infallible being -- by association, that should make THEM infallible as well, right?!? They simply can't digest the notion that they might be wrong about it all....

They are concerned for your soul
That is a good thing
Why do you want to make it a bad thing?
