Assuming that the business that makes the donation is not asking for anything in return, then you have to look at how the money was earned.
Obviously, you would not want to accept money from an illegitimate business. So what we are talking about is taking money from a legit business that does something morally questionable. How about alcohol and tobacco companies? How about military weapon/transport comanies?
The real question is whether you feel strip clubs do something immoral. Define "immoral". It's hard because we all have different definitions. How about "does this activity hurt anyone?". OK, alcohol and cigarettes can hurt the user and those around the user. Strip clubs are no different. They can be good and bad for the user, the employees and can hurt those around both.
One could argue that Walmart is just as immoral for selling guns.
Yes, it is ok for the school to accept the money.
If you disagree, then schools should not take money from any business. I work in the pharmaceutical industry. The company I work for makes cancer drugs. Sometimes we develop a drug that works, but is too expensive for consumer/insurance companies. So we stop developing it. Does that make us immoral?

Well, I think is fine. As a matter of fact I would like to see businesses in the city I live in sponsor schools so that children in economically challenged areas could have educational and social experiences that would benefit them in the process of growing up. To speak to you question regarding belief systems, I am a Christian and in the bible is talks about the wealth of the wicked being laid up for th righteous. When the children of Isreal were delivered out of slavery in Egypt, God told them to ask the Egyptians forvaluable items as they were leaving and as a result they went away wealthy.
I think it was alright for the school to accept the money as long as the school
isn't required to endorse the activity of the strip club. What better use could the money be used for anyway? Who knows, a child that benefits from that money may do so well in school and recieve a full scholarship to college and not have to work in a strip club to pay for tuition like some college students do.

well...i'm not sure, if i were in charge of such decisions in a school system, that i would accept a donation from a strip club. not that i'd really think the school was advocating stripping, but they need to be careful what that looks like. but, it is nevada...
but really...i don't see a problem with schools accepting donations period. they need to get money from somewhere and other sources don't seem to be cutting it. i live in michigan and, well, there's just nothing good going on when it comes to economics. i thank our governor for that, she will not be getting my vote in november.

Children's education should always be the highest priority, If someone is willing to lessen that education over moral objections, The only losers are the children.
I assure you that when a student sits down at an updated computer or have the latest text books to study from, They will not question where the money came from that helped to improve their learning.

I personally wouldn't have a problem with it. Money's money, and school systems need all they can get. Besides that, over the years I've known, and occasionally worked for, "legitimate" businessmen, who were perfectly all right with cheating their employees and customers out of anything they could get away with. Despite that, though, if one of them donated money to a school, or any other worthwhile cause, they were applauded as heroes.

If their gift is not colored with an intention to let them operate within ideal radius away from school then why not accept it? Maybe the strippers have children that studies there and education may take those students away from doing what their parents do to support them. I just worry about what the donors would ask that will not get entangled with PTA's philosopy.

It's money for public schools; the way public schools are now, why wouldn't it be accepted?
