I love looking at stars, but don't seem to wish on them lately. I don't look for the gold. I see the man in the moon, and usually he seems sad. I AM the highest heights of the earth, and I AM the depths of the ocean. We all are. We are all connected to everything and everyone in the universe. This is my reality, my time, and my space. :)
I don't think I'd like that bible verse. Good thing it doesn't apply to me, since that religion is not part of my spirituality. :)

I used to. But I'm a grown-up now. My reality is within your sphere of knowledge already, like a naked molerat in the sun. I see craters on the moon, and the faded ends of a rainbow with no gold but what i wear and have at home. I have dreamed of the highest heights only to lose my hikeing rations to a bear in the early part of my trip. As far as the deepest depths go, I can see them, but am not quite there. I use my imagination, among other things, to escape reality.

My reality is that I am eternal, here for a time, entrusted by God to use the gifts that He has given me, for the purpose that he has intended.
Isa 7:10-11
10 Again the LORD spoke to Ahaz, 11 "Ask the LORD your God for a sign, whether in the deepest depths or in the highest heights."
NIV

When I lived up Lahianaluna Rd, through my kitchen window, I saw a rainbow that appeared remarkably close. So I started walking up the West Maui hills, on a quest to stand in the rainbow.
Yes, I know that rainbows are optical illusions. But, I wanted to see how close I could get before it became invisible. I wanted to see a rainbow from the perspective of walking towards it...standing underneath it. I wanted to see if I could hold my hand up against a rainbow.

The answer to the first four questions is only when I'm on acid.
To answer the next question, yes, but why would I want to?
To answer the bonus question is, never heard of that, but I'd say it's more proof the bible is fictional, considering that mankind has done both those things.

H.R. Pufnstuf who's your friend when things get rough
H.R. Pufnstuf can't do a little because you can't do enough
Once upon a summertime just a dream from yesterday
A boy and his magic golden flute heard a boat from off the bay,
Come and play with me Jimmy
Come and play with me
And I will take you on a trip far across the sea
But the boat belonged to a kooky old Witch
Who had in mind the flute to snitch
From her Vroom Broom in the sky
She watched her plans materialize
She waved her wand -- the beautiful boat was gone
The skies grew dark, the sea grew rough
And the boat sailed on and on and on and on and on and on
But Pufnstuf was watching too and knew exactly what to do
He saw the Witch's boat attack and as the boy was fighting back
He called his Rescue Racer Crew as often they'd rehearsed
And off to save the boy they flew
But who would get there first?
But now the boy had washed ashore Puff arrived to save the day
Which made the Witch so mad and sore she shook her fist and screamed away
H.R. Pufnstuf who's your friend when things get rough
H.R. Pufnstuf can't do a little because you can't do enough
H.R. Pufnstuf he's your friend when things get rough
H.R. Pufnstuf can't do a little because you can't do enough

I pray upon a star
I look for a pot of gold wherever I can - I'm broke!
God is the moon...He is always with me even when I can't see Him
I believe I can do all things through Christ who is in me
You got me there on that bonus question... :)

For the biggest part, we are consciously separated from the eternal. We can only witness and participate in what we collectively accept as reality. The knowledge of self is only an experience of this. Ego, id and self are not important outside of this reality. After death we recombine with the eternal and our experience of this reality becomes common to the whole.

I think that God created the whole universe. There are many other life forms out there. When we die, we cross over to live in the love of God. Until which time, if ever, that we choose to return for another life.
