This is a serious question. I'm trying to controll my lusting of women. I'm getting pretty good at it, but I need to know how far to take it.

I think she's the one women you're allowed to desire, so in that regard, it's not wrong to covet her.

If you mean that your desire is "not within proper or reasonable limits; immoderate; excessive", then yes, you might have a problem. If this coveting is getting in the way of living your normal life, if it interferes with daily activity and prevents you from adequately functioning, then yes, it's a problem.

See a psychologist.

I don't think covet is the word you are probably looking for, because if she is your wife you already have her.

Perhaps you are talking about lust. If that is the case, then yes it is possbile to be feeling lust for your wife, and that would not be a good thing. Lust is an unbridled or intense sexual desire, one that is selfish, seeking sex for your own personal pleasure and not as an expression of love for your wife. If you were feeling lust for your wife, you would view her as an object there for your own gratification. Habits such as viewing of pornography or masturbation tend to foster these feelings and can be poison to marital intimacy.

If you do not have full control over your own fleshly desires, then do not even think about your wife's problems. The Bible says to take care of your own faults first, and then take care of the faults of others. Your own corruption will probably keep you busy for the rest of your life.

No, unless you're insane. It would be akin to being jealous of yourself. Even if it mattered, that commandment doesn't say it's wrong to covet your own wife now does it?
