Many would deny the veracity of the proof, and many would find something else to fight about.

Many would just go down the pub.

It can never be proved either to be man-made or not to be. God, if he exists, could make us believe one or the other but that wouldn't exactly prove it. Why can't it be proved? Because any proof must begin with a general statementr which is incontestable. What could such a statement be in this case? As to what would happen to man if it were either proved to be or not to be we can't know as it depends on which was proved. Assuming you can't prove something which isn't true. If you proved God existed and He did then man would have no excuse for not obeying God and all men would merit damnation one supposes. Only God's grace could save them. If He were proved not to exist and He didn't we could all stop worrying. If we are of course.

If you really understood you would know that Religon is man made but true relationship with God is not jesus was real and and was God but in order for you to grasp this concept you have to have a relationship with him . Man made religon doesn't teach this they can only go off what they think or feel but when you have a true relationship with your creator he shows you the real deal the big picture of life. Most people are afraid to be like this so they get involved with religon so they can make their god be and do whatever they want but what they fail to realize is their God is nonexistant in the real world but the real creator is showing people what life is all about everyday

Many religions are man made. Some are inspired by the devil. Some are inspired by God. Perfect undefiled religion to God is helping the widows, orphens, etc. and keeping self from sinful living.

Faith is different than religion. Faith is a restored relationship with God.

Who made the people who made the religion. Spirituality - or even just being happy in life - has nothing to do with figuring out "who's wrong." Rather, it comes about by working on yourself everyday.

Hahaha! Religion is human-made. It is a gathering of beliefs and rituals organised by humans. There's no secret about this.

---

The real question is: "are deities human-made?"

If it was proven that deities are human-made, well... Most of believers would keep believing the way they do. No change.

There would only be a change for lots of non-believers: "pragmatical proofs after so many clues".

'Religion' is man made. However, God is not. Neither is the truth of God. I suggest that you seek to understand God...not a religion. You can be a religious fanatic, but that does not get you any closer to heaven.

what are you talking about? religion IS man-made.
people who realized that following the way of love and truth and helping each other was better than following the way of fighting and robbing and killing taught that to other people.
it took a lot of self examination, and a lot of observations of other people around them doing all negative things that led to the conclusion that wisdom over ignorance, love over hate was the better way.
that is what the Buddha taught, that is what Jesus taught.

people would continue to follow their religion because they dont care about facts and proof, they do what they are told by fictional bible characters. i know this would happen because everyone already knows religion is made up by man, yet millions of sheep follow their shepherd anyway.

i agree with the other two. Religion's obviously man-made. The real question should be " If God is proven to exist...Say he comes down to earth. What would happen then?

Then God would have to go out and get a real job, instead of loafing round on his parents sofa all day watching daytime TV and re-runs of Star-Trek.
