Should everyone be left alone and have common and decent laws that show people they have a voice in how laws are made.

Should people be more responsible now in order for people to have a voice later?

This isnt a question but a statement. As I read these questions here,it looks like these debates arent goin anywere.Atheist believe there is not a god and christians believe there is a god.Its like hitting a brick wall. For the christians,Arguing with the atheist will not help,From what the word of god tells me were supposed to warn them not fight with them. The Lord gave them free will,im not defending them, just pointing what the word obviously says.Atheist, I think you've heard about god more than anybody else.Theres no point in arguing with you,our job is done.God has given the warning, you can choose to accept it or not, freewill again. I know all of you are getting points to grow levels,But why keep Biting each others head off?Is it necessary?

Is it similar to the difference between Protestant and Catholic or something altogether different?

I have ran out of answers but I was watching this question be asked to a Catholic priest and he answered to something of this extent: Babies are born with the Original Sin. So we baptize them as babies to remove that trace of Original Sin.

You said that Jesus said they were innocent, but you have taken that out of context. They are innocent in the sense that hey have a sense of innocence and they beleive more than adults. I hope that that has clarified some things and if you have any questions, let me know. God Bless.

I'm watching the Passion of Christ, and I do not see Jews in the mob. I see Christians. The ones we see so many of in this forum.

And I'm wondering: Is this what they need? To crucify an innocent, a helpless victim to satisfy their need for a scapegoat, someone to bear their sins for them? Will they not be satisfied till they've thrown people to the lions? Will they learn nothing till enough blood has been spilled, enough pain wreaked upon innocents that they finally satiate their lust for hatred?

Have they fallen so far as to need this?

And which of us will offer ourselves to their hatred, to teach them to love?

Is that what I'm doing in my small, pathetic way?

I've no answers, just questions. But in 2000 years I see no difference between a howling mob then and a howling mob now.

Don't give me Lord or God....that's just a title....does he have a name.
Jesus was his son so don't give me that, what kind of loving father would confuse us by saying he is 3 people A loving god would make sense to us.
Does he have a name and why don't we use it?

Well...I wonder if the story of enoch was a like event?

Makes me think of the part of the matrix when the people kept waking up because they couldn't live in a world that was perfect. Is curiosity and imperfection a pre=requisite for human life?

I think that believing in God is an obvious choice, because there really isn't any evidence that God exists, outside of one book. Plus there is so much evidence AGAINST what the bible says. So it must be a CHOICE to go against all of the reality right? I mean you choose to believe in Creationsim, or that the earth is 6000 years old, or that Noah actually took 2 of each species, or that Moses was 700 years old as fact. But there isn't evidence. Yet there is more evidence that the earth is 4.4 billion years old. That evolution created our species, and that the earth is round and 2 +2 = 4. But to go against that is to make a choice NOT to believe the reality right?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but where are all of the science books showing evidence of Noah's arc, or the 6000 year old theory. Why would scientists cover that up? What is there motivation for lying. Don't they just follow the evidence? It makes no sense...

I'm not a Jehovah's witness but I do believe that if the bible god exists, you are the only true followers of God. You are the only group of people who preach from door to door as Jesus comanded his followers to do and, really, all your teachings are biblical and...every other religion hates you guys which is also in the bible.

Anyway, here is my question, I have had a bible study by you guys and I have attended many times to the kingdom hall. But now I really feel like God does not really exist.

I see all the people suffering around the world, children dying in africa by the thousands daily, little girls sold as sex slaves in asia and just horrible things that when you think about it, life is not even worth it. Nothing is worth the torture and suffering that is happening now. For millenia humans have suffered and Jehovah God has allowed it. as if he has no compasion or feelings or has a lot of tolerance. He seems like a cold heartless God. Does God really exist?

In my religion, we are against baby baptisms.
I just wonder why some religions don't even give their kids a choice, and baptise them even though Jesus said they are innocent.

With all of the new personality controlling drugs out there, I've seen many people change dramatically once they got on medication. But my problem is that God didn't create them that way. If God wanted them to be on Drugs he would have made them that way. Are we playing God by taking prescription drugs?

This is mostly meant for Christians and I'm sorry if you're offended by my using this section for lack of a more "appropriate" venue. A few minutes ago, someone sacastically suggested that we should all go watch Lord of the Rings and think about how frodo has saved us all. I realize that J. R. R. Tolkein was a devout Christian and together with C.S. Lewis wrote christian themed novels for the people of that era, but does anyone else find it interesting how many Christian themes can be found in Hollywood today? Some good examples are in the Matrix and Superman Returns. Both aren't blatant in their Christian themes but there's a subtle awknowledgement that I'm seeing more and more of as of late. Has anyone else noticed this? I think it's kind of exciting turn of events.
