Should everyone be left alone and have common and decent laws that show people they have a voice in how laws are made.

Should people be more responsible now in order for people to have a voice later?

Our Founding Father had a great idea for that, it was called freedom of religion.
Now its not-so-freedom of religion, the gov recognizes all religions except the ones politically incorrect.
As for the rest, I like: An armed society is a polite society.

In 1984, George Orwell was portraying socialist systems like the Soviet Union, and warning everyone what could happen.

Fun fact: Stalin's socialism was based on atheistic principles, and religion was basically outlawed. I'm sure some power-hungry tyrant could twist a religion to make a society like that, but in atheism there are no safeguards against such actions.

Liberal politics promote Orwellian society. PC is Newspeak. 'The principle held must dear by a freedom loving people is the right to be left alone.'
