Jesus was here on earth as a man. However, to the Jews (Genesis-Malachi) he was Lord, YHWH, Jehovah, etc.
As for a specific scripture, it depends on a few variables; so as a general rule I do it this way. When Jesus died on the cross; two things happened; 1. The New Testament went into effect (it was not 'understood' until the day of Pentecost).
2. The 'old testament' was done away, (the veil of the temple was rent). The only way both could occur at the same time is if Jesus was the being that gave the 'old testament'.
B. Another method one might try, is comparing what 'I AM' said to Moses at the burning bush (Exodus 2 or 3), and what Jesus said when he was arrested in the Garden calling himself 'I AM'. (Some translations capitalize them, some do not.
C. One can also note the use of the term Lord (Capital L). It refers only to Jesus.

I wouldn't quote, since all you have to do is open any of the gospels and you'll find quotes easy...

Jesus was a man, that honored God first and loved everyone even more then himself. He was mostly out in nature and not in the city, mostly with many friends, having a good time, with food and vine. He always cared more for others, then himself, did all he could for the people around him.
He was honest and caring, never lied, cheated or stole and inspired everyone else to do so. He liked to be with the honest, but in the eyes of the public 'bad' people better, the hypocrites.
He was humble, always ready to serve others, not looking for his own benefit or glory.

He loved us so much, gave His life for us.

Ps.: all places I wrote was, it also means is.

Yes.

John 1:1,14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Isaiah 53:6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

John 6:35 Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty".

John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

John 10:9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture".

John 10:11 "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep".

John 11:25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die".

Johnn 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".

John 15:5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing".

Just because one can quote the scripture does not mean that one knows Jesus.

Do you feel the need to prove to others that you beleive in Jesus?

Would think that all you need is Jesus' love and accept Him as your Savior, rather than boast to others and find pride in your command and memorization of scripture.

I know Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. I don't have to quote anything to believe this. Know this: Jesus Christ is the Word of God. John 1:1-3.><>

I don't understand the question.

I think you are asking if I can quote scripture, but your being a believer since you were five .. what are you asking?

Uh ... sure I can quote scripture. I can "John 10:10" ya, chapter and verse even.

The goal is to walk in the light and give the glory to God.

It's all through psalms and proverbs "praise God", why we spend most of our time asking God to bail us out of a parking ticket -- I dunno.

Praise God!

Ask Jesus who He is..........
John 14: 16 "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father except through me." "I am the bread of Life."
John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst."
John 8:12 "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
John 10:9, 11 "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep."

The Bible says "I am the way, the truth and the light, no man comes unto the Father by by me."

"I am the light of the world, he who believes in me shall not walk in darkness."

No one knows Jesus personally and all those who did are dead and gone.

Read the book of John.

I agree with Veteran Garfield. IF you have a relationship with Christ why do you need someone to quote you scripture? Shouldn't you already know it?
