I am a bit confused. Okay so here it is , I want to work in skin care and cosmotology and was wondering , if people in that field will go to heaven or not? I know this is aweird question but someone said that god would not approve of it.

durin the past few weeks ive been goin out with this guy and like i love my bf and everything, but im scared that God is upset with me because i dont think bout Him that much i dont really give him that much time anymore, i do read the Bible everynight and all but it just feels like im farther apart from Christ than usual, and im afraid that Christ wont let this relationship work out with me and my bf, i dont know that if this feeling is normal because this is my first bf since i became a Christian..., but i dont think that God would never want us to have a bf so i dont feel how he would be mad at me but then the other half of me is just like feelin bad...

It seems todays christian believes that you only need to awknoledge Christ as your saviour, and you are saved. They disredard everything said in the bible about punishment.
I am christian and I get insulted when someone says they are a christian, but don't think they need to pray, and that sex before merraige is okay, and that the bible is just old so we don't need to listen to it. Some christians are okay, but after being chathilic, and not caring myself, because no one else did...
My question basically is, why, if you are christian, do you take the commandments so lightly?

Catholocism states that to enter heaven you must be baptised. But what happens to innocent babies that are tragically killed on their way to the baptism? Do they go to hell? Because they can't get into heaven?

Last night on 60 minutes they had a story that said that a males chances of being Gay increased by how many older brothers he had! They also said that Homosexuality can be shown in early childhood. Claiming that homosexuality has a hormonal cause.

Everyone knows that being gay is a choice. Gays choose to live that way. So why is 60 minutes being so irresponsible with their lies?

I've been noticing alot here lately that alot of Christians are quick to denounce sins that they feel are worthy of doing so, while starchly defending their apparent right to gorge themselves however they please. I have noticed this mostly within southern Baptists, although other denominations or whatever could be guilty as well. My question is not whether it's as bad as drinking, but more along the lines of why is this a totally accepted vice? I know it's southern culture, but if the bible says "put a knife to your throat if you are a glutton", how can people just skip right over that? The usual defense is "it's not in the bible"... well, I'm sorry, but it is, there are several verses such as the one I just quoted that says otherwise.

I know they are not really my friends, but some of them are nice to me when I'm alone with them, but mean in a group.
We started school this week and when we were introducing ourselves in class, I said my name (it is "Jewish sounding", meaning it involves a "berg", "silver," or "gold" but I am actually adopted and my parents didn't raise me in the Jewish religion). A lot of the girls in my class snickered and later in the hall they would say my last name & laugh as they go by.

Then, today in gym class when I went back to my gym locker I found all of my "feminine supplies" that were in my backpack strewn all over the locker room and a note that said my last name on it in big letters.

These girls also pull my hair in class and say I have a big Jewish nose (kind of ridiculous because I am not even Jewish!)

There is one girl in particular that is inciting all of this; when she's absent the others are OK. This girl is related to the principal (niece) . What should I do?
