I committed suiside 3 years ago, and survived. I was dead for a few seconds, I think around 10 if I recall correctly. But one of the things I began to notice when I woke up from that incident, was the surealness, and the emptyness. I know what depression is, and what it feels like, but this is much more. I am wondering if there is any religion/spiritial information that actually describes what happens to a failed suiside like myself. Whether or not our souls are still with us, or if it has left, leaving us to wander around. No, this is not a goth or emo post, I am not a cutter. Just a series of unfortunate events leading to a poor choice. I am looking for any ideas as to what I am feeling, or where to go for direction. On the god issue, again, long story, but in a nutshell I pissed him off. Details too long for char limit. Any Ideas will be helpfull. Thankyou.

I am always so confused when I try to understand questions people ask. Is something wrong with my Reading Comprehension? Or is there a problem with their communication skills?

Even worse then an abortion, as that twin brother had lived inside him for 36 years from the time of conception. What does the absolute morality of the bible have to say about this medical murder? Why would God allow a man to carry his own brother as a child in the first place?

ok i've already asked "What should one do is one loses one's faith?" I am asking this again because no one can give a decent answer ok this question cannot be answered with "you." If you feel like putting "you" in your answer replace it with one. by putting "you" the person answering is assuming that this question is about the asker. it could be about the asker's friend. and another thing no comments like "welcome to the real world" or "now that the brainwashing's done" the asker in this case has never been brainwashed and never will be. so if you don't read this little detail thing you just shouldn't answer. I no one has notice i am looking so a decent no sarcasm no bullshit answer!

I'm supposed to be go going to the pub in like an hour from now but I don't know if I should go because I really want to help my depressed friend out. She has a lot of emotional problems and I want to bring her at ease because she did the same thing for me. I haven't been tothe pub in like 2 years but I've kept up my faith and still learned a lot.

What should I do?

My Catholic parish is considering it. I think they should focus their energies on evangelization, especially for those hoping for a beer profits and attracting bingo addicts.
I don't think Jesus would like to have these activities around His House. They seem too worldly, too mundane and profane.

...ignore their own scripture?

Does that give you a good feeling about what it must be like to be Christians?

Do you think it is about time that Priests be allowed to marry in the Christian faith? Personally if they can get some action in bed with their wives, maybe they'll leave the tiny kids alone and stop molesting them.

Surely Priests that molest children are going straight to hell!! Taking innocence, rape and manipulation - surely a "man of god" knows better and deserve to go to hell

I'm shocked at the level of abuse I get from well meaning chistians or folks with no sense of humour....or is that both? I would like to suggest that you all have remorse but I feel this is no longer the case.Should I leave Yahoo Answers at speed and not look back? Maybe you should have a look at some of my other questions to get an idea.

I'm not sure if I was having an actual conscious out-of-body experience, but I think it almost killed me. All I remember was that I was laying on my back in bed, couldn't move. I was so scared, but all I could do was try to scream for help but it was useless. And all I could hear was a loud, high-pitched, ear piercing noise that would intensify the more I struggled, and my skull felt extreme pressure as if were about to explode or implode.....
Has anyone experienced this before?

There could be a lot of explanations on this but I've really been into practicing OBEs lately and haven't quite got the hang of it.

With the government's intervention into matters regarding the so-called separation of church and state; how long will it be before it is considered child abuse to force your children to go to church?

And who said this?

"If you oppose [*DELETED NAME] we promptly look up—and will find and expose your crimes. If you leave us alone we will leave you alone."

"Never discuss [*DELETED NAME] with the critic. Just discuss his or her crimes, known and unknown. And act completely confident that those crimes exist."

"If attacked on some vulnerable point by anyone or anything or any organization, always find or manufacture enough threat against them to cause them to sue for peace. Peace is bought with an exchange of advantage, so make the advantage and then settle. Don't ever defend. Always attack."

"SP Order. Fair game. May be deprived of property or injured by
any means by any [*DELETED NAME] without any discipline of the [*DELETED NAME]. May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed."

I deleted the name so someone can answer the question.

Do many 'Churches' do this? Is it correct for a church to do this?

Then go to this site http://salafipublications.com/sps/ then go to i'm a non-muslim or i'm a christian or you can check out the other stuff, misconceptions section is short and sweet, you can email me at fdr23rapper@yahoo.com, hate mail is unavoided and accepted as well as people that just want to seriouly talk religion and are serious. I've studied religion for 14 years, was a christian, now i'm a muslim. NOT one of those strapped with a bomb ignorant types. I'm from America, I don't hate it I just don't like its condition of ignorence, as you'll see by some the "answers". pretty much don't like the war, the native violence, drugs, alcohol, rape, murder, and filth that goes on. I reflect on just how short life is and if there is a ONE true GOD, which there is I want to see him being on the right path, not a path with hypocracy, loop hole, and the wrong map. If was you I'd check the site out. AND I wouldn't prejudge a whole way of life (religion) intil I got the facts straight.

The books left out of the original CANON, ...The Apocalypse of PETER...
I saw on the History channel, Peter asked GOD , if you are all loving, MERCIFUL, and all forgiving...Why must these who are in Hell suffer for all eternity.
And God Answered saying someyhing to the effect of...
What I am about to tell you is to be SEALED.
Then He said," they will all be set free eventually".
I looked up in the books left out of the original CANON, and I still did not find that even in the APOCALYPSE of PETER...
as mentioned on the HISTORY CHANNEL.
So what do you think.
